    Tennessen, Eunice V.
    Eunice Tennessen, age 92, passed away at an Appleton nursing home on Sunday, February 14, 2010. She was born in Kaukauna on August 22, 1917, daughter of the late Henry and Nellie (Liebergen) Nackers. On June 9, 1938, she married Bernard Tennessen; he survives. Eunice will be remembered by everyone for her sewing and crocheting, and her cooking and canning.
    Survivors include three children: Judy (Karl) Korth, Greenville; Cletus (Gail) Tennessen, Mena-sha; and Ken (Laurie) Tennessen, Menasha; eight grandchildren: Bradley Korth, Junel Korth, Krista (Chris) Krenz, Dr. Jason (Dr. Laura Knudson) Tennessen, David (Dana ) Tennessen, Amanda (Vincent) Temu, Tim (Tami) Tennessen, and Natalie (Marcus) Onkels; four step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-grandchild on the way. There are also two brothers: Gerald (Mary) Nackers, Freedom; Leo (Alice) Nackers, Seymour; three sisters: Rose (Vincent) Schmidt, Combined Locks; Margaret (Clyde) Romenesko, De Pere; Marie Nackers, Kaukauna; and a sister-in-law, Loretta Nackers, Kaukauna.
    Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, four young children: Josephine, Patricia, Phyllis, and Francis; brothers Russ (Evelyn) Nackers and Vic Nackers; a daughter-in-law Michelle Korth; and a grandson Justin Tennessen.
    The funeral liturgy for Eunice will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, February 18, 2010, at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH - ST. AL'S Site, 2401 Main Avenue, in Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sherwood. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

    Gerald P. Nackers, Freedom, age 91, died Sunday January 6, 2012. He was born in Kaukauna on April 23, 1921 to the late Henry and Petronella (Liebergen) Nackers. Gerald married Mary A. Lamers on May 24, 1945 at St. Paul Parish in Wrightstown. Gerald farmed for 24 years in Freedom. He then worked as a home and barn builder, even building his own home. Gerald was a member of St. Nicholas Parish, where he also held maintenance duties. He enjoyed wood working and cabinet making. Gerald liked to golf, bowl and square dance. He also enjoyed yard work and feeding his birds. Gerald's greatest joy was spending time with his family.
    Gerald is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary; children: Wayne (Jean), Appleton; Tom, Milwaukee; Diane (Tom) Busse, Madison; Darlene (Jeff) Hendricks, Little Chute; Bill (Donna), Atlanta, GA; Sue (Dave) Vatland, Appleton; and Bud (Lila), Combined Locks; grandchildren: Jill (Joel) Hinkens, Jodi (Jeremy) Olmsted, Michael (Yvette) Nackers; Adam (Kristin) and Derek Nackers; Jackie (Brian) Garcia and Damon (Amy) Busse; Traci (Glenn) Hipwell, Travis (Ashley) and Kelly Hendricks, Kerri (Troy) Kilgas; Jason (Josie), Kimberly (Ben) Walter and Danny Nackers; Beth (Jeremy) Nettekoven, Katie (David) Lardinois and Cody Vatland; Jami (fiance Ben Burroughs) and Dylan Nackers; 17 great grandchildren; siblings: Marie Nackers, Rose (Vincent) Schmidt, Leo (Alice) Nackers and Margaret (Clyde) Romenesko; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Bernard Tennessen, Loretta Nackers, Helen, Gene, Helen and Marcel (Marilyn) Lamers, Rose (Francis) Schmidt, Fran (Bob) Haen and Emily (Gordon) Vander Wyst.     Visitation will be held Thursday January 10, 2013 at ST. NICHOLAS PARISH (W2037 County Road S Freedom) beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 12:00 Noon. The Rev.     Mary Lou Vanden Heuvel, Kaukauna, age 80, passed away on Mother's Day, May 10, 2009, after a brave battle with cancer. Mary Lou was born August 22, 1928, in Wrightstown, daughter of the late Bill and Nellie (Vander Heiden) Nackers. She graduated from Wrightstown High School and was then employed at Ditter's Plumbing in Kaukauna. She was married to Bud (Cyril) Vanden Heuvel on August 17, 1950, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna. She happily spent her married years with her husband and family farming on their Town of Freedom farm. Mary Lou enjoyed many vacations traveling with family and friends. She could be ready to go on pretty short notice. She also considered cutting lawn a hobby and not a chore and couldn't wait for spring so she could do what she loved most.
    Mary Lou is survived by her husband of almost 59 years; a son, Michael (Mary Jo) Vanden Heuvel, Seymour; and four daughters: Carol (Val) Uitenbroek, Darboy; Cindy (Ken) Uitenbroek, Appleton; Jane Vanden Heuvel, Appleton; Barb (Don) Micke, Freedom; 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law: Millie Nackers and Eileen Nackers.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, and four brothers: Joe (Iline), Charlie, George and Albert "Boots".
    Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday May 14, 2009, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna, with Fr. Marty Fox officiating. Friends will be received on WEDNESDAY at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Parish Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. concluding the evening. Friends may call again directly at church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in St. John Cemetery.     Robert A. Nackers died Monday, July 13, 2015 at Theda Clark Hospital. He was born January 30, 1930 in Wrightstown, son of Peter and Catherine (Vanden Wymelenberg) Nackers. He attended school in Wrightstown until he left to serve as a Staff Sergeant in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Upon his return home, he attended St. Norbert College and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He married Elizabeth (Betty) Hanegraaf Vander Wyst September 7, 1957 and she preceded him in death November 16, 1995. He worked for American Can as a Cost Accountant before joining Appleton Papers as the General Account Manager. He later joined Kimberly Clark as General Account Manager of the Consumer and Service Products Division before becoming the Financial Manager of the Fullerton, CA plant and Business Analyst for the Consumer Plant Division before his retirement in 1992.
    Bob was very active in both his church and community. He was an emeritus life member of the Institute of Management Accounting having served as past president of the old Northeastern WI chapter of the IMA. He served on the Neenah Park and Recreation Commission for 13 years, six as the Chairman. He also served on the Neenah Plan Commission for six years as Vice Chairman. He was a long time driver for the Meals on Wheels Program.
    Bob was a Trustee and Chairman of the Finance Committee at St. Gabriel Parish in Neenah for 13 years before moving to CA. Upon his return from CA, he joined St. Margaret Mary and served as a Trustee and member of the Finance Committee for 8 years. He was also a money counter as well as a Eucharistic Minister to the sick. For 17 years, Bob was Coordinator and Division Leader for the Twin Cities Perpetual Adoration Chapel and was currently a member of the Development Board of the Mount Tabor Retreat Center. He is a life member of the Knights of Columbus and served as past Grand Knight of Neenah Council 5514 as well as a State District Deputy for District 10. Bob was a devoted father, grandfather, husband and friend. He had a passion for his faith, travel, history, Brewers and Packers. He spent many years camping with his family at Little Silver Lake in Wild Rose.
    Bob is survived by Delores Anderson, his loving companion with whom he has shared the last 15 years; his six children: Lynn Lambert, Paul (Mary) Nackers, Mike Nackers, Jim (Debbie) Nackers, Cathy Augsburger and her companion John Kraimer, Lisa (Chad) Thiede; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; many relatives and friends.
    He was also preceded in death by his parents and a son-in-law Steve Lambert and several sisters- and brothers-in-law.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division Street, Neenah with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Wrightstown. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2015, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S Commercial St., Neenah and from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church until the time of the Mass. Military honors will be performed by active members of the U. S. Army and the Neenah Menasha Veterans Honor Team. A memorial has been established for Mt. Tabor Retreat Center, Menasha.

Coroner John Knauf of Calumet County said they were asphyxiated after a kerosene stove exploded and sent clouds of smoke through the two-story frame structure, all the windows of which were closed. Damage to the house was limited chiefly to that caused by heat and smoke. According to Knauf, the parents were milking in their barn when Mrs. Tennyson noticed smoke coming from the direction of the house. Hurrying to the house, the father and mother saw flames through the windows of the first floor and shafts of smoke emanating from the door jams and window casings. Unable to get through the doors, they got ladders with which they reached the second floor where the children were sleeping. Climbing through a window Tennyson, removed the oldest child, Joseph, five, but was prevented by smoke from reaching the others. Volunteer firemen, summoned from Sherwood brought out the others - Patsy, 3; Francis, 2, and Phyllis, 5 months. All were dead when removed from the house, the coroner said.

    Linda Nackers, age 64, of Kaukauna, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015. She was born on October 21, 1950, in Appleton, to the late Russell and Evelyn (Van Hoof) Nackers. Linda was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was an avid Packers, Badgers, and Brewers fan. Linda always enjoyed listening to old country music, and watching old tv shows. Her family meant the world to her, and she looked forward to attending family gatherings.
    Linda is survived by her siblings: Joyce (Joe) Schumacher, Ruth, David, LeRoy, Donald (Yvonne), Alice, Shirley, Carl and Carol Nackers, Joan (Curt) Ellis, Debbie Lembcke. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and brother-in-law Rick Lembcke.
    The funeral service for Linda will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Kaukauna. Deacon Mark Ebben will be officiating. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes Association are appreciated. Online condolences can be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.
    The family would like to thank the staff at St. Paul Elder Services and the Appleton Medical Center ICU for your excellent care and compassion.

    Obituary:
    Pulaski - Gregory John Nackers, age 62, entered eternal life on Saturday, May 12, 2018, after a battle with ALS. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by his family in the comfort of his own home. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judith; four children, Christopher, Steven, Jeremy and Sidney; four grandchildren, Elena, Declan, Tristan and Sebastian; and his parents Leo and Alice. Greg was an avid outdoorsman who loved to be outside hunting, fishing, camping, cycling, and just enjoying God's creations. Gregory's positive outlook on life and constant acts of kindness to all those around him will be forever missed. A Memorial Mass will be held at ASSUMPTION BVM CATHOLIC CHURCH, 124 E. Pulaski St., Pulaski, at 11 a.m. on Saturday May 19, 2018, with Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski O.F.M. presiding. Burial will be held at St. Stanislaus Cemetery following the luncheon. Visitation will be held at ST. STANISLAUS CATHOLIC CHURCH, W1888 Hofa Park Dr., Seymour, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018, and also at ASSUMPTION BVM CATHOLIC CHURCH from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Saturday.     Romenesko, Craig J.Craig J. Romenesko, 37, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 3 0, 2002. He was born Nov. 20, 1964, in Shawano, to Clyde and Margaret (Nac kers) Romenesko and married Brenda Virtues on May 16, 1990. For 12 year s, Craig owned and operated Nicolet Liquor in De Pere and for the past sev en years was a courier for FedEx. He enjoyed deer-hunting, four-wheelin g, going on fishing trips to Canada, taking walks with his dog, going to t he cottage and he also became a handyman. Craig greatly loved his family.Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda; two daughters, Tonia and Cassan dra; granddaughter, Zoe Madison; his parents, Clyde and Margaret Romenesk o; siblings, Randy and Terry Romenesko, Rod Romenesko, Scott and Lynn Rome nesko, Stuart and Sherry Romenesko, and Cheri and Sean Pieters; father a nd mother-in-law, Glen and Darlene (Erdmann) Virtues; sister-in-law and br other-in-law, Lisa and Dave Rajkovich; nieces, nephews, and his dog, Moon.

    John "Jack" Nackers, age 50, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 25, 2007. He was born March 30, 1957, to Albert "Boots" and Eileen (Deering) Nackers of Wrightstown. As a loving father and grandfather he will be sadly missed by Tony and Cara Nackers of Kimberly, Kyle Nackers of Kaukauna, Kurt Nackers of Seymour, Cassie Nackers of Kaukauna and her fiance Matt Sherman; a granddaughter Taylor; a sister, Nancy and Paul Vande Hei of Wrightstown; brothers: Jim and Deb Nackers of De Pere, Paul Nackers and Marcia of Pulaski; nieces and nephews: Tammy and Chad Weiss of De Pere, Amy and Dean Vande Hey of Wrightstown, Shaun Wall of Greenleaf, Katie Vande Hei of Wrightstown; and special friend Deb Zernicke of Bonduel. Jack is further survived by other family and friends.
    Jack was preceded in death by his father, Albert "Boots" Nackers.
    Friends may call at St. Aloysius Congregation, 2401 Main Ave., Kaukauna, on Saturday from 10-12 noon. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 noon Saturday at the church with the Fr. Norman Krutzik officiating.

    Obituary:
    Ted W. Schmidt, Hollandtown, age 30, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, with his loving family and staff at his side. Ted died from complications of Tuberous Sclerosis, which he was diagnosed with shortly after he was born on October 16, 1979. Ted's parents are Dennis and Linda (Jacobs) Schmidt of Hollandtown (Kaukauna). Ted lived in his home at He-Nis-Ra Lane in Green Bay for over 5 years. He previously lived at Agape of Appleton, Willow Glen of Milwaukee and J. Edward Court in Suamico. We are very proud that Ted graduated from Syble Hopp School in DePere. Ted led a simple life. He enjoyed looking at picture books, throwing stones in the water, bouncing balls, and shooting hoops. He also loved See N Says. Ted loved spending time with his Dad on the ATV. He had a warm personality and loved to smile. Ted made many people appreciate life more and taught patience to many.
    Besides his parents, he is survived by his two brothers and sisters-in-law and five nieces and nephews. They are: Andy and Christel (Libby and Drew), Neal and Jodie (Dylan, Brady, and Katie); his paternal grandparents, Vincent and Rose Schmidt; Godmother, Pat Barker; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
    Ted was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Gladys Jacobs; a nephew, Francis Schmidt (son of Andy and Christel Schmidt); his Godfather, Ken Barker; and his uncle, Carl Schaeffer; as well as special friend and neighbor, Sharon Meyers.
    It was an honor to be Ted's parents and he will be missed greatly and never forgotten. Ted changed our lives and taught us so much about life, love, and our faith. We know that Ted is in heaven and now he is perfect, no seizures, no pain, no headaches, and no more medicine.
    The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at ST. FRANCIS CHURCH, 433 County Road CE, Kaukauna (Hollandtown) with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends will be received on Friday, September 17, 2010 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with a Parish Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. concluding the evening and again directly at church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, there will be a Memorial in Ted's name at Syble Hopp School as well as for the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
    The family wishes to thank everyone who ever provided services for Ted - doctors, nurses, hospice and care providers. You helped us give Ted 30 great years. A special thank you to his brothers, and their families, who have been patient, loving and always did what needed to be done for Ted.

    Brian Nackers, age 34, of Appleton, was greeted at the Gates of Heaven by his grandma and grandpa Vander Heyden and grandma and grandpa Nackers, along with his cousin Ben Schmeltzer on Saturday, May 24, 2014. He was born on July 21, 1979, in Appleton, the son of William "Bill" and Mary Ellyn (Vander Heyden) Nackers. Brian graduated from Kimberly High School in 1997 followed by an Associate Degree in Marketing in 2000 from Fox Valley Technical College. He was a past member of the Fox Cities Spina Bifida Association. Brian was a statistician for the Kimberly High School Basketball Team. He volunteered for the Disabled American Veteran van program at John H. Bradley VA Outpatient Clinic and Paper Discovery. Brian was the proud recipient of the President's "Call to Service" Award in 2012 and a Make-A-Wish Foundation Recipient. He had completed a 5K during one summer and then a 10K the next year, along with being a regular camper at Camp Ability in Lake Forest, Illinois. Brian was an avid Packer fan and looked forward to the annual vacation to Branson, Missouri, where he met and became a friend to many performers and their families. His family meant the world to him and he loved doing ANY and ALL activities with his brother Tom and his family.
    Brian is survived by his loving parents Mary and Bill Nackers; his amazing brother Thomas W. (Kerry) Nackers of Hubertus; nieces Taylor Nichole and Kendall Lauren Nackers; aunts and uncles: Judy Vander Heyden of Appleton, Rev. William Vander Heyden of Sarasota, Florida, Phyllis (Jim) Leitermann of Kimberly, Bonnie (Gary) Simonsen of Mountain, Gene (Julie) Nackers of Neenah, Denny (Diane) Nackers of Neenah, LuAnn (Gary) Schmeltzer of Appleton, Gary (Vicki) Nackers of Hunterville, Indiana, and Jeff (Lori) Nackers of Sherwood; along with numerous cousins and friends.
    The funeral liturgy for Brian will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH, 222 E. Fremont Street in Appleton. Fr. Bill Vander Heyden will be officiating. Interment will take place at St. John Catholic Cemetery on Valley Road in the Town of Menasha. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 am until 10:45 am.     A special thank you to all of you who were so involved in Brian's life, the Doctors and staff of Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee, especially Wound Care Specialist Janice Erbe; the staff of Appleton Medical Center, as well as all of Brian's previous hospitals, Out-patient Clinics, and local Home Care Providers.
    Brian, you were the bravest of all. You were loved so dearly during your time on earth, only to be surpassed by those above. Know we wait for the time to be together again.

    Nackers, Hannah OliviaDaughter of Paula and Chad Nackers of Darboy died at birth Monday, Decemb er 8th, 2003 at Appleton Medical Center. Survivors include her parents Pau la and Chad Nackers of Darboy and their son, Owen; her grandparents: Jim a nd Joan Nackers of Combined Locks, and Pam and Steve Boettcher of Darbo y; two aunts, Michelle Nackers and Katie Nackers; an uncle, Cory Nacker s; her great-grandparents: LeAnn DeGoey, Loretta Nackers, Mavis and Mel Wu rm and Gale Driessen; and her step great-grandparents, Gale and Donald Boe ttcher.Hannah’s prayer service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 11t h, at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Field crest Drive, Kaukau na with Deacon George Schraufnagel officiating. Friends will be receiv ed on Thursday at the Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of servi ce. Burial will take place at St. Paul Cemetery.
