    Katherine Bissett Roberts, 85, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2011. She was born in North Carolina on April 8, 1925, the daughter of the late Howard E. and Katherine (Bissett) Powers.
    Kathy is lovingly survived by her husband, Dennis, married for 66 years; and by her children, Pam (Gary Worry) Darling, Appleton; Jane Roberts, Wittenberg; Tom Roberts, Appleton; Ron (Betty) Roberts, Appleton; John (Mary) Roberts, Madison; Keith (Marilyn) Crawford-Roberts, Doylestown, Penn.; Kay Roberts, Appleton; grandchildren, Steve, Kelley (Todd), Sara and fiance Matt, Creed (Kara), Lindsay, Mary, Ann, Tom; great-grandchildren, Larissa, Macy, Dane, Maelee and Liam; nine nieces and nephews in North Carolina. Katherine is preceded in death by her son, Jim Roberts, and sisters, Mary Lib, Laura and Peg.
    A Memorial Service for Katherine will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 7, 2011, at Memorial Presbyterian Church, 803 E. College Avenue, Appleton, with the Rev. Kathy Keener-Han officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
    "Mom" found abiding love in her family, peace in her church family, and joy in gardening, birding, and in her many friendships.
    In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Katherine's name to: Memorial Presbyterian Church or NAMI Fox Valley.
