    Obituary:
    Shirley Irene Frailing, age 85, passed peacefully into the loving arms of our Lord on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Her journey to heaven was guided by husband Robert and daughter Lynda. She was born on July 28, 1926 in Appleton to the late Virginia (Priebe) and Raymond Filz, the middle of three daughters. Shirley married Robert Harry Frailing on August 30, 1947. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2006. Shirley always enjoyed the company of her family and the close friends she made during her life journey. She also had many personal retreats such as knitting, reading, The Wizard of Oz, yellow roses and most of all the secret stash of dark chocolate.
    Shirley is survived by five of her six children, Jeffery Frailing, Milpitas, CA; John (Judy) Frailing, Moneta, VA; Mary Beth (Frank) Schreiter, Hortonville, WI; Joseph (special friend Tammy) Frailing, Wisconsin Rapids, WI; Jamie (Tom) Kapellen, Kiel, WI. She is further survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two sisters, Kay Kessel and Nancy Merkel, in-laws, Marilyn Kuntsman, Jerry Frailing, Tom (Louis) Frailing, Mike (Carol) Frailing, Bill (Sharon) Frailing, Marge Frailing as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
    In addition to Robert, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Lynda, in-laws, Richard Frailing, Karen Frailing and Elmer Kuntsman.
    A memorial service will be held 6:00PM Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from the funeral home with Rev. William Hoffman officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton. Shirley's family will receive relatives and friend at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00PM until the hour of service.
    A memorial fund is being established in her name.

    The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the wonderful staff of AMC hospital. We will never forget the guidance, kindness and compassion we received during this difficult time.
