    Obituary:
    HARDACKER FUNERAL Funeral services for Mrs. Emma A. Hardacker of Hortonville, 65, who died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Howard McNutt of Onalaska, where held at 1 o'clock from the late home in Hortonville and at 1:30 in the Baptist church. The Rev. Richard Evans of Wausau had charge of the services. Interment was in Union cemetery. The bearers, all of whom were nephews of the de- ceased, included E. E. Nye of New London, Dr. H. Playman, Wllbur Grant and Harold Grant of Appleton, Roland Jack and Milo Jack of Hortonville

    HARDACKER FUNERAL A number of Appleton persons at- tended tho funeral of Mrs. Emma. A Hardacker of Hortonville, which was held at 1 o'clock Wednesday from the late home in Hortonville and at 1 o'clock from the Baptist church. The Rev. Richard Evans of Wausau was in charge of the service. Those who attended from Appleton were Miss Jane Barclay. Miss Bessie Mills, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Grant, Harold Grant, Floyd Hardacker, Mrs. Frank Grant, and Dr. H. Playman.

    Clifford Briggs, 16-year old (sic) son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Briggs of Wittenberg, formerly of Hortonville, was killed in an automobile accident Sunday afternoon about two miles south of Wittenberg, according to word received by Appleton friends. The funeral will be held at 9:30 Thursday morning from the home at Wittenberg and at 1 o'clock in Hortonville. Interment will be in the Hortonville cemetery. Dr. Richard Evans of Appelton will have charge of the service.
