Obituary:
Mrs. Alvin Lust 927 Grignon St., Kaukauna Age 56, passed away at 8:45 p.m. Sunday after a short illness. She was born April 21, 1909 in Centerville, Iowa, and had been a resident of Kaukauna for the past 35 years. She was a member of the Kaukauna Methodist Church; the Odille Chapter of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Lust is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Merrill (Sylvia) Banvile, Pickett, Wis.; Susan, at home; two sons, Norlin, Niantic, Conn.; David, at home; 8 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna, With the Rev. Robert Edwards officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday

Obituary:
Sylvia R. (Lust) Banville, 91 of Pickett went to work in her master English Country Garden on August 18, 2016. She was born on August 4, 1925, to Alvin and Dorothy (Allen) Lust in Oconto Falls, WI.
Sylvia grew up in Kaukauna and graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1943. After graduation she hopped on a train to Chicago to attend and graduate from Michael Reese Nursing School. After graduating Sylvia married Merrill Banville on October 20, 1946, and made Pickett her home where she became an active member of the community and the Elo Methodist Church.
Sylvia was the Administrator of Park View Health Center for several years and finally was able to retire in February of 1988. From there she hopped in the RV with Merrill and they traveled the country. When she wasn't traveling, camping, attending her grandchildren's or great-grandchildren's events, exercising at the Y, or attempting to be a Rummy Cube Shark, Sylvia enjoyed attending to her garden placing her finishing touches on her master piece around her house.
Sylvia is survived by her daughter, Leda Kettner; her six grandchildren, Rick (Beth), Russell (Shawn), Martin (Kelly), Kandice (Vicki), Dusty (Lindsey), and Casey; and her twelve great-grandchildren, Brittany, Kyle, Jesse, Dakota, Dalton, Aidyn, Hannah, Eli, Noah, Taylor, Spencer, and Bradi.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents; husband Merrill; son Roy; brother Bud; and great-grandson Christopher.
A visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, August 25, 2016, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Elo Evangelical Church 1134 Williams Rd. Pickett. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Judith Lipp officiating. Inurnment will be in the Liberty Prairie Cemetery, Pickett.
