    Obituary:
Leonard "Len" Allen Klein, age 55, passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving family after a two year long courageous battle with cancer. Len was born to James and Judith (Casner) Klein on December 8, 1960. He married Jean Lamers on October 1, 1983 and they have enjoyed an amazing 33 years together. He graduated from Kimberly High School in 1979 and graduated in 1983 from UW-Madison with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Physical Therapy. The majority of his career was spent as the director of physical therapy at Valley-Bay Therapy in Appleton, WI.
Len loved camping, hunting, fishing, and working with Jean around the house and yard, creating a special place for family and friends. One of Len's favorite pastimes was sitting on his back porch listening to music and entertaining. His home was always open to everyone. He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish in Kimberly. Len had a passion for working with kids; volunteering many hours coaching football, baseball, basketball, and softball within the Kimberly Area School District. Len was a Kimberly High School Athletic hall of fame inductee and a member of the Wisconsin Badger football team. He loved golf outings and spending time with his buddies. Len loved watching football, but the times he enjoyed the most were the ones spent with his wife and children and being the best "Poppy" to his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.
Len is survived by his loving wife Jean; his parents, James Klein and Judith (Kenneth) Kaufert; his children: Meghan (Denis) Prahl; Alex (Katie) Klein, Adam Klein, and Aaron "AJ" Klein; his grandchildren: Jackson, Lillian, and soon to arrive baby girl Prahl and Jaden Klein. He is further survived by his brothers Terry (Colleen) Klein and Robert (JoAnne) Klein; step-sisters: Wendy (Scott) Stolberg, Amy (Marty) McLaughlin, and Jill (Mark) Daft; parents-in-law: Richard "Dick" (Barb) Lamers; brothers-in-law: Joe (Kelly) Lamers, Tom (Patty) Lamers, Mark (Jane) Lamers, and Tim (Kourtny) Lamers; sisters-in-law: Anne (Mark) Huiting, Mary (Jeff) Prickette, and Patti (Eric) Scott; uncle Dick (Dee) Klein, uncle Tom (Mary) Klein, and his godmother Karen Klein; and many other special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Leonard (Adeline) Klein; step-mother-in-law Nancy Klein and uncle LeRoy Klein.
A funeral mass to celebrate Len's life will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH at HOLY NAME OF JESUS PARISH, 620 E Kimberly Ave in Kimberly with Msgr.
