    Barbara Ann DuFrane (nee Argust), age 72, of Black Creek, passed away peacefully at Appleton Medical Center with her family by her side. Barb was born in Appleton on March 28, 1942, to the late Lyman and Delores "Billie" (Bleir) Argust. She graduated from Appleton High School with the class of 1960. On September 2, 1961, she was united in marriage to Roger DuFrane. Barb and Roger have enjoyed 53 years together. Barb owned and operated R&B Stables and was co-owner of the family business, Fox Valley Overhead Door. She devoted a lot of her time to her beloved horses, enjoyed working in her flower garden, reading, and adored all of her pets.
    Barb is survived by her loving husband, Roger, Black Creek; daughter, Tracy (Allan Jr.) Eastman, Neenah; four sons: Tim (Sandy) DuFrane, New London, Terry (Chris) DuFrane, Hortonville, Tom DuFrane, Appleton, and Ted (Anne) DuFrane, Appleton; 10 grandchildren: Mike (Jill), AJ (Tamara), Max, Caitlin (Ray), Alex, Aly (Dustin), Roger, Emily, Samuel, and Thomas; five great grandchildren: Jordy, Reese, Hadleigh, Kailey, Finley; two sisters: Sue (Dan) Weyers, Appleton and Nancy (Pat) O'Brien, Woodstock, GA; 3 sisters-in-law: Janice (Gordon) Houlihan, Appleton, Mary DuFrane, Kaukauna, and Sandy (Russ) Hoppe, Appleton; and brother-in-law, David (Yvonne) DuFrane, Townsend. She is further survived by nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Christopher, and 2 brothers-in-law Dennis DuFrane and Tom DuFrane.
    A memorial service will take place at 12 noon on Saturday, March 7, at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel on Saturday from 9 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Guenther and his staff for all their compassionate care given to Barb.

    Nancy Lee O'Brien, 73, of Woodstock Georgia passed away on November 28th, 2016. Nancy was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on May 31, 1943. Nancy's love for dogs afforded her to work with Southern Hope of Atlanta to aide in rescue and adoptions for several dozens of dogs. She worked for Self-Help in Bluffton, South Carolina to feed and give clothing to those in need and she also volunteered time to work for the Open Door Community in Atlanta, Georgia. Nancy enjoyed watching her granddaughters play volleyball through college and she followed closely the USCB softball team. Throughout her life, Nancy also worked for Zwicker knitting mill in Appleton, Wi and Kimberly-Clark in Roswell, Ga. She is survived by her husband Patrick O'Brien; Sons Greg (Colleen) O'Brien, Mark (Sarah) O'Brien; Sister Susan (Dan) Weyers; Brother-in-laws William (Rosemary) O'Brien, Michael (Debbie) O'Brien and John (Cindy) O'Brien; Grandchildren Tori O'Brien, Courtney O'Brien, McKenna O'Brien and Ashlyn O'Brien; Lifetime friends David & Carol Liebhauser and Robert & Rhonda Hochholzer of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents Lyman and Delores Argust; Sister Barbara (Roger) DeFrane and her mother and father-in-law Robert and Ethel O'Brien. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 2, 2016 at St. Michael's Church of Woodstock at 10:00AM. A memorial service in Menasha Wisconsin at St. Patrick's Church will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Woodstock Funeral Home.

    Christopher Terence DuFrane, Age 25, of Hortonville, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. He was born on December 26, 1988 in Appleton, son of Terence and Christine (Murphy) DuFrane who survive him. He is also survived by his siblings: Mike (Jillian) DuFrane; Alyson DuFrane and her fiance Dustin Schroeder; maternal grandmother: Mary Lou Murphy; paternal grandparents: Roger and Barb DuFrane; a nephew and niece: Jordy DuFrane and Reese DuFrane. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Mike Murphy, and uncle, Pat Van Alstine.
    The Funeral Mass for Christopher will be held on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville with Rev. Msgr. Jim Feely and Parish Director Greg Layton officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. A visitation for Christopher will be held directly at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the mass.
    The family would like to thank the numerous people who were involved in Christopher's life over the years who gave wonderful care to him. We greatly appreciate all you have done.
    Chrissy, You are such a wo derful gift to our family. You taught us how to love and made us all better people. You will be greatly missed.
