    Pahl, Edward L.Edward L. Pahl, 75, Clintonville, passed away Saturday evening, Sept. 3 0, 2006, at his residence. Edward was born on May 21, 1931, in Appleton, W is., the son of the late Max and Marie (Lyons) Pahl. His family later mov ed to a farm in the Township of Deer Creek, Outagamie County. Ed had atten ded St. Mary's Catholic School, Bear Creek. He later served his country du ring the Korean Conflict in the U. S.Army for four years. In 1958, he marr ied Joyce Knapp in Clintonville. The couple lived in the Township of Be ar Creek, Waupaca County. On July 15, 1983, Ed married Judy Martzahl Peter son in Waupaca. The couple lived in the Township of Matteson, Waupaca Coun ty until 1988 when they moved to the Township of Larrabee. Ed had been emp loyed at the F.W.D. Corporation (Seagrave Fire Apparatus), Clintonville f or 40 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a life member of the V .F.W. Post #664 of Clintonville.Survivors include his wife, Judy;two daughters, Cara Pahl, Clintonville; G ina (Javier) Carrillo, Marion; two sons, Richard (Jodee) Pahl, Clintonvill e; Allen Pahl, Wild Rose; three stepdaughters, Joyce (Randy) Beyer and Vic ki (Jim) Strauch, Manawa; Amy (Bill) Huber, Clintonville; three stepson s, Todd Peterson and Dean (Sherry) Peterson, Clintonville; Darrel Peterso n, New London; 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Be atrice "Skip" (Earl) Thompson, North Carolina; Jean Rew, New London; Jo an (Les) Shepardson, Appleton; two brothers, Francis "Fritz" (Sylvia) Surp rise, New London; Harold (Marcie) Surprise, Hortonville; numerous other fa mily members and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Rosemary; and his bro ther-in-law, Jerry Rew; and a special friend, Barbara White Schuelke.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006, at the Eber hardt-Stevenson Funeral Home, Clintonville, with the Rev. Janice Kuder off iciating. Interment will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville. Frien ds may call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the ti me of the service. Military rites will be provided at the funeral ho me by the American Legion Post #63 and the V.F.W. Post #664 of Clintonvill e. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
