Family History Researcher:
I found the baptism record of Theodora. It is not very clear, but I think she was baptized on Jan 5, 1788. I enclosed a PDF of this, her record is on the bottom. By the way, she was baptized in Zetten, but lived in Indoornik.
The site http://www.geldersarchief.nl/ had search function and contains the records of Zetten and environment. There I found a baptism record of a Maria Philipsen (~ 24 april 1757 in Zetten), daughter of Derk (Theodorus) Philipsen and Peterken Hendriks van Doorn. I don't know if this is the mother of Theodora, but it is very likely. Because:
1. She was too baptised in Zetten

2. The birth/bapt year could be her

3. Her father is Derk/Theodore, so she named her illigitimate daughter after her father. Which is common.

Derk and Theodore/Theodorus are the same name. Peterken is the same as Petronella/Nellie. Hendriks van Doorn -> her father could be a Hendrik or she could be from the place Doorn. Also please be aware that in that time in this area people did not have strict last names. They were very often named differently. Like the siblings of Maria I found:
- Hendrik Derksen (Derksen as in child of Derk) ~ 1 sept 1754 Zetten

- Jenneken Derksen ~31 Jan, 1745 Zetten

I also found a marriage of a Maria Philipsen (alis van Merwijck) to Alexander Herwaijen. They married on Dec 7, 1787 in Zetten. But then why gave she birth to an ill. child in 1788? Alexander must have been dead in 1788.
Maybe you could dig a little more on geldersachief.nl to find more about her ancestors. There were more Philipsens there in those days. The site is not in English, but if you have trouble with understanding things, please let me know and I will give a hand.

Jay, 1821 is strange indeed, it can be the year Helena has been baptised. It also can be a wrong date, because in those days it was usual to baptise children on the day they were born. (At least for Catholics) Paulus Hendrikson Kuijten had only one daughter who survived childhood, Henrica Kuijten. She died unmarried. The rest of his children died very young.
My family book does not list the children of female descendants. Maybe you can find any of Helena's children in Den Haag. She was married there to Antonieson Leemckens. She died there on April 29, 1886.
According to the Marriage record you send me, Theodora could have been born in Zetten. Zetten on this moment is just a field somewhere between Beuningen and Elst in the Netherlands. Dreumel is near Tiel.
Theodora and Hendrik can also have been married in Oss, the Netherlands, 'cause Hendrik was baptised there. In the marriage record there is only the name of Theodora's mother, Maria Philipsen. In those days the mother should be recorded with the last name of her father. So Maria Philipsen could be unmarried, and might have carried the name of her father, Theodora's grand father!
I hope this information will help you a little, although I have to admit it brings up more questions to me too.

See image Henry Romenesko, Henry Romenesko for over 50 years a resident of Freedom departed this life Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 at the home of his daughte r, Mrs. Louis Verhagen with whom he had been making his home. Mr. Romenes ko has been ill for about past five weeks, the result of an abscess on h is lungs. Deceased was born in Holland June 15th, 1832 and came with h is parents to this country locating at Port Washington where he was marri ed to Miss Mary Ruppert who died 29 years ago. After the death of Mrs. Ro menesko, Mr. Romenesko moved to Freedom where eight years after he was uni ted in marriage to Mrs. VanRixel, who's death occurred three years ago. S urviving deceased are six daughters, and one son, namely; Mrs. Gerard Verh agen, Mrs. Louis Verhagen, Mrs. Theo Pennings, of Freedom Mrs. John Felle r, Mrs. Mat Weber, and Walter Romenesko all of this city. He is also survi ved by one brother, Walter Romenesko of Freedom, 45 grandchildren and 29 g reat-grandchildren. Mr. Romenesko was widely known throughout this vicini ty where he has resided for over half a century. The funeral will be he ld tomorrow morning at 9:00 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with internme nt in the parish cemetery. Six grandson's of the deceased will act as pal lbearers.

The body was taken to the Brettschneider Funeral home where it may be viewed from 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon until -8:30 Monday morning. 1894 Wisconsin Death records Rec# 2077; Michael Romenesko age 29, bo rn in Freedom on 2/26/1865 died in Freedom on 7/18/1894. Husband to Ann ie Huss, son of Henry and Maria. Crushed by falling timber, died two da ys after accident.

Obituary:
Mike Romenesko of Freedom died on Friday from injuries received at a barn raising the previous day. He sawed one end of a timber the other end sawed by a fellow worker unknown to Romenesko, He was on the timber when about to fall, he jumped but not in the right direction, the timber fell on his stomach. He leaves a wife and child.

Obituary:
Michael Romenesko from Freedom came to the end of his life in a sad fashion. He was engaged in building a shed, and went to stand on a beam in order to saw through it. Romenesko did not know the beam had already beam cut through on the outside. The beam fractured and a part of the beam struck him in the chest, wounding him so severely he died the next day.

Kaukauna - Mrs. John Feller, 55, died Sunday morning in Appleton. She is survived by four daughters; Mrs. Frank Goetzman, Mrs Frank Yingling, Mrs. Andrew O'Connell, Jr., and Mrs. Richard Wilpolt, Kaukauna; three sons, Harry and Theodore Feller, Milwaukee and Harold Feller Kaukauna, and by six grandchildren. Edwin J Lang is listed at the same address. We always knew them as our aunt and uncle, Helen and Ed. They also had a daughter named Kay Wanda Lang. She would be about 65 Y.O.A. The location is right for where I remember their house. Ed was a bakery/chef by occupation, at Bloedoes (Sp?) Bakery. I will have to see if it's still in operation the next time I go down there. (I have property about 25 miles from there).
I don't know why the dates seem so far off (10 years)for the age. I have her listed as 81 at the time of death. That comes from the intelius.com website that I use for a second check on information. Ed is listed as D.O.B Jan.02, 1918 & died at age at 92. Which means he would have died this month.
Helen M. at that address is listed as D.O.B. 13 Mar.1900...17 years off! It may have been Edwin Lang's Mother. At 81 Y.O.A at the time of death, she would have died in 1981. So I am still not sure what the status of Helen Romenesko/Lang is. I don't have her Middle name available right now but I have copies of a lot of birth certificates and will find out.

The information of her death came from some of Alice Romenesko's children who are attempting to start a family tree. I am seeing a lot of their information wrong. this all started first researching when Alice recently went into the hospital before her death. This is the first I have checked their information. So...I think Helen M Lang would be Edwin J Lang's mother and the status of Helen Romenesko/Lang is still not verified!

Anna Katherine Brutsch became the wife of Herbert Romenesko, who in turn are my maternal grandparents. Joseph Romenesko the father of Herbert (Herbie)Romenesko was a blacksmith.He migrated from Wisconson to Minnesota. Herbert worked for the railroad for awhile before becoming a blacksmith himself. His work for the Railroad took him to areas of Southern Minnesota and South Dakota. He had a great reputation for honesty with the Indian tribes living along the Mississippi and south Dakota at that time. They started doing all of their trading exclusively with him for all of their Blacksmithing needs. He would get orders for tools and deliver them. When we would go to Brownsville/Calidonia area to visit my great grandmother, Katherine Brutsch, he would take all of us down there for a family reunion. He had his own school bus route from Weaver to Winona. So it made sense to take everybody down in the school bus. In the back of the bus was the shovels, horse shoes and everything else the Indians wanted. He would stop the bus along the road and the adult male members of the family would help carry the tools up the hill, usuall about a 50 degree incline (About 1/4 mile)to hand deliver them. He continued making tools for them and working for the railroad as the stationmaster in Weaver,MN until his death. So...between the railroad and the Black Smith trade, is the reason he got down to the Calidonia area to meet Anna K Brutsch. Lucky me, otherwise, I would not have been born 22 years later. :)

"You would make a wonderful hospital nurse, Philomena." This praise fr om her fatally ill mother, gave Sister M. Calasanza the first thought of g iving herself to a special work as a religious. Six years later, at twent y-one, Philomena was compelled to come to terms with herself while meditat ing on Christ's vivid condemnation of tepidity. Desiring to do a positi ve work in the Church, Philomena made the necessary contacts and with t he guidance of Sister Mary Leopoldine, the superior at St. Francis Xavi er Cathedral, Green Bay, entered the candidature in Milwaukee.
Making known her desire for the nursing profession, Novice Mary Calasan za hoped that her superior would consider such an assignment for her. Sist er tells us however, that she learned a valuable and enduring Novitiate l esson in Our Lady's recommendation, "Do whatever He tells you," and receiv ed with true joy the obedience that sent her to the classroom.
From first to last, Sister cherished her vocation as she herself relate s. For more than 50 years Sister was a better than average teacher. Eve ry child in her classroom was her big concern. She would not spare herse lf in serving these little ones and in particular her First Communicants.
When Sister was working at St. Joseph's Home in Green Bay, her health a nd eye-sight failed to such an extent that she was forced to give up scho ol work. Nevertheless, her assignment as refectorian for the Sisters at t he home revealed the same attention to the individual wants and needs of h er Sisters. She took care to keep a late dinner hot and to serve it wi th a smile. Her community of these days remember her pleasant. polite a nd cheerful demeanor.
During an active 57 years of service, Sister was stationed at: St. John Ka nty, Chicago; St. Francis, De Pere; Our Lady of Lourdes, Dobie; St. Michae l, Milwaukee; St. Luke, Gary; and St. Joseph Home, Green Bay.
In 1955, Sister retired to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Mount Calvary, Wiscon sin and as age made more demands on her feeble strength, was transferr ed to Notre Dame Infirmary, Elm Grove as a patient in 1959.
Always trying to avoid burdening others, Sister got around at the infirma ry as best she could, but unhappily fell and broke her arm. This accide nt confined Sister to her room or to a wheelchair and after a bout with t he flu during the ensuing winter months, Sister gradually grew very wea k. On April 22 Extreme Unction was administered and on May 6, Sister prep ared to welcome the angel of death. About 3:20 a.m., Monsignor Rodenkirc h, Mother Annunciata, Sister's niece, Sister M. Josepha and the nurses, wi tnessed the quiet, peaceful exit of Sister's soul. Sister had a special d evotion to our Sorrowful Mother, daily saying her chaplet. By a strange c oincidence, Sister now lies buried near the 13th Station of the cross in t he Elm Grove cemetery.
A child of God from within twenty-four hours of her birth, this first gene ration American citizen spent her formative years in the quiet little vill age of Freedom, Wisconsin. Her parents, Gerhard Romenesco and Theresa Hag el were staunch old-world Catholics. Little is actually known of Sister 's early life. She attended the two room village school where she first l earned to know and love our Sisters. A prominent doctor in Green Bay alwa ys mentions Sister as his mother's hired girl who helped to bring him u p. He attests that, "Some of the dearest memories of my childhood are lin ked with good Sister Mary Calasanza."
Her long life of conformity to God's will and loving care for His childre n, have no doubt earned her an everlasting reward. May Sister Mary Calasa nza intercede for our loved Order and send many girls with the measu re of her love to serve God and our Blessed Mother as she did.

May she rest in peace."

She was born in Freedom January 13th, 1878 and lived in that vicini ty of all of her life. She was a member of the Christian Mothers and t he St. Theresa's society of St. Nicholas Church. Mrs. Conrad is surviv ed by five daughters, Mrs. Cornelius (Anna) Hietpas and Mrs. Henry (Maria n) Jansen, both of Little Chute; Mrs. Willard (Rosella) Vandenboom and Mr s. Peter (Agnes) Bergman, both of Appleton; Mrs. Quin (Blanche) VandenBer g, of Freedom; five sons, Walter, Joseph, Earl, all of Appleton; Willi am and Norman both of Freedom, one sister, Mrs. Anna VanHoof, of Little Ch ute; 37 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren. Anna VanHoof, Little Chute, age 92, passed away at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. She was born July 12th, 1882 in Freedom. She was a member of the St. Elizabeth society. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. George (Marie) Kemps, of Route 4 DePere, and Mrs. Russell (Evelyn) Nackers of Kaukauna; three sons, Wallace, of Route 7 Appleton, Clarence, of Route 5 Appleton, and Ken of Little Chute; 38 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren. Funeral services wi ll be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday from St. John Catholic Church, Little Ch ute, with Rev. Norbert VandeLoo officiating. Internment will be in the pa rish cemetery.
