    Young Man Killed In Paper MILL
    Kaukauna- Elmer Senso, 19, son of Mr. and Mlrs. Albert Senso, route 3 Kaukauna, was instantly killed when he was caught between two cooling rolls on a wax machine at the Thilmany Paper mill shortly after 10 o'clock Monday evening. He had evidently passed entirely through the rolls, which were about six inches apart. Two men who were working on the same machine with him went into another department to get a roll of paper about the time the accident occured. The men working nearest him were about 30 feet away. They heard him yell and when they rushed to the machine he was dead. His skull was fractured, but there were no marks on any other part of his body. He was working on the 3 to 11 o'clock shift.The accident happened about an hour before he was to go home. He is survived by his parents and three brothers, Oliver, California, and Clifton, and Russel of Kaukauna. The funeral will be held at Holy Cross Church.

    Funeral Service Is Conducted at Holy Cross Church, Kaukauna
    Kaukauna - Funeral services for' Elmer Senso, 20, who was killed in an accident at the Thilmany Paper mill about 10 o'clock Monday night, were held at 9 o'clock Friday morn- ing at Holy Cross church. The Rev. P. J. Lcchman was in charge of the services, and interment was in the Holy Cross cemetery. The ycuth was crushed to death when he was caught between two cooling rolls on a waxing machine. His body passed through the two rolls which are about sis inches apart. No one was near at the time. He was born Oct. 3O, 1910, and lived in this city all his life. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Senso; three brothers, Oliver of California acd Clifton and Russell of this city.

    Senso, Russell P., 152 Garfi eld Street, KaukaunaAge 83, died Friday, November 16, 2001 at Parkside Care Center in Little C hute. Russ was born in Appleton on December 4, 1917, son of the late Albe rt and Ella (Wheaton) Senso. On August 29, 1940, he married the former Lor raine Arnoldussen in Kaukauna; she preceded him in death on November 26, 1 999. Russ was a longtime employee of Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company in Ka ukauna, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at the family cott age. Many will remember his garden and the pride which he showed in it.Survivors include a son: Russ (Su Ann) Senso of Neenah; two daughters: Kar en Richard of Appleton and Mary (Joe) Van Handel of Neenah; six grandchild ren: Meghan and Joshua Senso, Robin (Jim) Sowinski, Roxanne (Roy) Clemenc e, Wendy (Mike) Tesch, and Sherri Lewis; three great-grandchildren: Madis on Beattie, Alexis Tesch, and Zachary Tesch; two sisters-in-law: Frances S enso of Kaukauna and Ceil Wheaton of Kaukaun; and two dear friends: Mary H ooyman of Appleton and Roy Abitz of Green Bay. Russ was preceded in dea th by his parents, his wife Lorraine, and brothers Clifton "Nook" Senso, E lmer Senso, and Oliver Wheaton.Funeral services for Russ will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, Decemb er 4, 2001 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukaun a, with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Interment will be in the parish ce metery. Friends may call on that Tuesday, directly at the church, fr om 9 AM until the hour of the service.
