    Anne Elizabeth was born to George Edward and Ellen Gertrude (Hardy) Kronschnabel in Kimberly, Wisconsin on May 31, 1923. She served in the US Navy during WWII and met Cornelius (Casey) Hermus on the train returning home from the war. They were married at St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha, Wisconsin on September 27, 1947.
    Liz is survived by eight children: Kathy (Jack) Mauthe, Pat (Susie), Mike (Mary Lynn), Dave (Kathy), Don (Marie), Maureen (Bob) Kelly, Paul and George (Nancy); fifteen grandchildren: Tina (Joe) Truehart, Cori (Matt) Bartz, Jenny (Nate) Hoelzel, Angie (Brian) Warner, Amy (Wes) Sokel, Bryan (Theresa) Hermus, Ryan (Jessie) Hermus, Ben Hermus, Emily (Andy) Langer, Abby (Dusty) Varick , Bob Kelly, Bryanna Hermus, Sam Hermus, Mike Kelly, and Jill Hermus; eighteen great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Seamus, Reyna, Sydney, Jared, Charlie, Ethan, Mason, Kaylee, Sophie, Simon, Maddox, Becket, Lacey, Cecilia, Whitney, Claire; one step-great-grandchild: Justine; two brothers; George and Jack (Helen) Kronschnabel; two sisters: Ellen Mary Kronschnabel and Frances Tilque; sisters-in-law: Alice and Jeanie Hermus; brother-in-law: Dave (Rosemary) Verhagen.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Casey; a daughter: Jeanne Derfus and a granddaughter, Jessica Rose Hermus; brother: Dr. Edward (Shirley) Kronschnabel; sister: Eileen Kronschnabel; sister-in-law: Betty Kronschnabel; brother-in-law: Donald Tilque; husband's parents: Rudolph and Johanna Hermus; brothers-in-law: Rudy Hermus and John Hermus; sisters-in-law: Margaret Verhagen and Jane Van Hout; Sr. Jane Hermus, OSF.
    The Funeral Liturgy for Anne will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, December 5, 2014 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH in Menasha with Fr. Paul Paider officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King "Alzheimer's Namaste Program: Ainsworth Hall".
    The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the Staff of Ainsworth Hall at the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King for the care given to Anne.

    Anne married Hermus, Cornelius "Casey" 27 Sep 1947. Cornelius (son of Hermus, Rudolph P. and VanderSanden, Johanna M.) was born 5 Apr 1926, Little Chute, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; died 1 Oct 1983, Appleton, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; was buried , St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Menasha, Wisconsin, USA.
