    Van Domelen, Matilda F. Little ChuteAge 85, died Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at Parkside Care Center. Matil da was born December 9, 1917 in Two Rivers; daughter of the late Joseph a nd Rose (Hoffman) Fischer. She married John Van Domelen, June 17, 19 39 at St. Edwards Catholic Church, Mackville. Matilda volunteered at River view Nursing Home for 16 years, doing mostly hair for the ladies. She w as a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute and belon ged to the St. John mission for five years. She also belonged to the Resur rection Choir and the Golden Agers. She enjoyed cooking and baking for h er family, especially her grandchildren.Matilda is survived by her husband, John; four daughters: Valeria (Vincen t) Vande Hey, Krakow; Rosalyn (Arthur) Jacob, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Ma ry (Van) Robinson, Rancho Palos Verdes, California; Christine (Daniel) Van der Zanden, Little Chute; 19 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; two si sters: Valeria Gloudemans and Georgiana (Ray) Baum; a son-in-law, Doug And erson; a sister-in-law, Rosemary Fischer; many nieces, nephews and friend s. Matilda was preceded in death by a daughter, Sanja Anderson; two brothe rs: Wilbert (Catherine) and Benedict Fischer; and a sister, Marie (Josep h) Hartloo.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2003 at St. J ohn Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute with Rev. Msgr. James Vand en Hogen officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends m ay call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday a nd at the church from 9 a.m. Friday until the time of the mass. In li eu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
