    Green Bay/Madison-Elizabeth M. "Betty" (Ley) Lefebvre, age 95, of Green Bay, Wis., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017. She was born on May 17, 1922, in Peshtigo, Wis., daughter of the late Anton and Elizabeth (Joyce) Ley. Not long after, her family moved to Green Bay and Betty spent most of her life there. She was united in marriage to Jules C. Lefebvre on Aug. 30, 1947. Betty graduated from West High School in Green Bay and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in accounting. She worked as a Certified Public Accountant prior to her marriage and continued to work part time through the "tax season" while raising her family of seven children. Betty was a long time member of St. Mary of the Angels parish, and also regularly attended mass at St. Vincent Hospital. She enjoyed family life, cooking, baking, and sewing. She had a special love for children and enjoyed the outdoors, spending many a summer weekend at the lake swimming, fishing, and just relaxing by the water. She walked nearly every day and could be seen with one of the family's black labrador dogs around the Astor Park neighborhood.
    Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and she lived by her faith. She was unconditionally loving and supportive. Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jules, of 52 years and her siblings, Lucille Ley, Elaine (Eugene) Ballman, Robert (Ruth) Ley, Anton (Edna) Ley, James (Janice) Ley, and Joyce Zinn. She is survived by her loving children Jules (Nancy) of Wausaukee, Wis., Marie (Brian) of Lakewood, Colo., Ann (Steve) of Middleton, Wis., Paul of Monona, Wis., Joe (Jackie) of Supply, N.C., Betty (Ken) of Wausau, Wis., and Helen (Cass) of Las Vegas, Nev. She is also survived by numerous and cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    Betty's family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Greenway Terrace in Spring Green, and at All Saints Memory Care Facility in Madison for their many years of loving care, as well as the staff and volunteers at Agrace HospiceCare in Madison.     James Ley, 82, a long time resident of Allouez, peacefully passed on to eternal life Monday, June 25, 2007. Born Jan. 24, 1925, to Anton and Elizabeth Ley also preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Tony and his sisters, Joyce Zinn and Elaine Ballman. Jim served his country in the Merchant Marines during World War II and the United States Army after the war. For many years Jim was an accountant for the Mobil Oil Corporation, prior to his retirement he worked as a business manager at the Curative Workshop. On Sept. 16, 1950, Jim married Janice Taugher. Janice preceded him in death on Jan. 10, 2004.
    Jim is survived by his children, Thomas (Susan), Green Bay; John (Mary Lou), Tomahawk; James (Netty) Vienna, Va.; Molly (John) Lester, Crandon; Robert (Norma), Minneapolis; Michael (Debi), Grand Rapids; and Marianne (Hal) Hayek, Winston-Salem. He is sadly missed by his grandchildren, Kelsey, Jessica, Edward, Katie, Emily, Amanda, Theresa, Michael, Cecelia, Sara, Bill, John Paul, James, Ann, Courtney, Brendan, Maria, Rose, and Charlie. Jim is also survived by his sisters, Lucille Ley and Betty Lefebvre; loving sister-in-law, Mary Ann Schloer; brother-in-law, Chris Christman; and many nephews and nieces.
    A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful nurses and staff at Woodside Lutheran Home for the exceptional care they provided for our Dad.
    Friends may call at St. Willebrord Church, 209 S. Adams St, Thursday June 28, from 9 a.m. until the Mass of the Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Rev Ken DeGroot officiating.

    Joseph L. Ley, 86, De Pere, passed away Wednesday evening, March 11, 2015. The son of Joseph H. and Mary (Baeten) Ley was born April 3, 1928 on the family farm south of De Pere in the Town of Rockland. He was a graduate of East De Pere High School in 1944 and St. Norbert College in 1948 at the age of 20.
    Joseph was united in marriage to Patricia A. McGee on August 16, 1952 at St. Peter's Cathedral in Marquette, MI. He served his country in the US Army Reserve Officer Training Corps and the US Army reserves, attaining the rank of Captain.
    Joseph owned Statewide Insurance Co in Green Bay for 55 years. He was a lifelong member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere. He enjoyed gardening, sailing, camping, traveling south for the winter, genealogy, and was an avid runner participating in marathons into his 80's. His family was so important to him, and he loved them dearly.
    He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Pat; children: Kathleen (John Norback) Ley and their son, Sebastian Norback; Jane (John) Gutschow and their children: Derek (Rachelle) Gutschow, Mathew (Danica) Gutschow, and Teddi Gutschow; Nancy (Perry) Lindquist and their children: Brandon (special friend Jasmine) Lindquist, Kenton (fiancé- Maddie) Lindquist, and Todd Lindquist; Karleen Cross and the late Joseph F. Ley's daughter, KaCie Ley; Michael (Cathy) Ley and their children: Andrew (special friend Laura) Ley, Adam (special friend Nicole) Ley, and Aubrey Ley; David (Jackie) Ley and their sons: Patrick Ley and Parker Ley; great-grandchildren: "The A-Team": Ayden, Anthony, and Adelyn Gutschow; sisters: Ann Hare and Mary Pat Aschenbrenner; brother, Donald (Ann) Ley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: James McGee, Chuck (Mary) McGee, Alice (Dick) Tyler, and Alice Waco; as well as other family and friends.
    Joseph was preceded in death by his dear daughter, Marilyn Ley; dear son, Joseph F. Ley; mother and father, Joseph and Mary Ley; mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Elsie McGee; dear sister, Helen Flanagan; brother, John Ley; brother-in-law, Bill McGee; sisters-in-law, Evelyn McGee and Mary Ann (Paul) Horal; a niece Patricia (Horal) Murphy and nephews Bill McGee and Tim McGee, as well as other family and friends.

Webster Ave., De Pere, Friday, March 13, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., where there will be a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 220 S.     Thomas F. Ley, "Tommy", Kaukauna, age 60, loving husband, father and grandfather went to his eternal rest on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. He was born December 31, 1952 in Green Bay, WI, son of the late John and Mabel (Bain) Ley. He attended East DePere High School. On September 18, 1982, Tom married the former Diane Killian and they lived in Kaukauna their entire married lives. Tom loved the annual deer hunting season, and in his earlier years enjoyed riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. He was a member of the Antique Snowmobile Club of America as well as the Low Bucks Vintage Club. He enjoyed his co-workers at Paper Valley Recycling where he worked for the past 22 years. Tom loved the short time he spent with his brand new grandson.
    Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Diane, Kaukauna; a daughter, Jennifer Ley, Menasha and fiancée Erik Shaw; his grandson, Haven Shaw, a son and daughter-in-law, Brian (Kristle) Ley, Kaukauna; three brothers: Jerry (Joan) Ley, DePere, Danny Ley, DePere, and Bob (Cindy) Ley, Green Bay; two sisters: Mary Jo Ley, DePere and Judy (Larry) Schmitz, DePere. He is furthers survived by a brother-in-law, Mike (Diane) Killian, Kaukauna; two sisters-in-law: Laura (Dave) Rasmussen, Kaukauna and Linda (Doug) Brauer, Appleton as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
    Tom was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joseph.
    Funeral Service for Tom will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September, 16, 2013 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna with Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
    We love you Tom, miss you, and will never forget you.
    Tom's family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and Paramedics involved in his care as well as the compassionate Chaplains from St. Elizabeth Hospital.
