    Vincent M. Sanderfoot, age 81, passed away following a short illness with his family at his side at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. He was born in Little Chute on October 6, 1928, the son of the late Theodore and Dorothy (Mueller) Sanderfoot. On October 16, 1954, he married his wife of 55 years, Alice Saari. Vince was proud to serve in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Kimberly Clark for ten years then joined the Post Office in Kimberly, delivering mail and later becoming a clerk. Vince enjoyed bowling, golf, fishing and traveling with Alice. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
    Vince is survived by his wife, Alice; Susan Janssen of Little Chute, Carol (David) Koepke of Menasha, David (Barbara) Sanderfoot of Wisconsin Rapids, and Daniel (Diane) Sanderfoot of Kaukauna; nine grandchildren: Rebecca Cisneros, Sarah (Scott) Christensen, Jason (Michelle) Sanderfoot, Richard (Sandy) Welhouse, Heather Griesbach, Amanda Sanderfoot, Nicole Janssen, Emily Janssen and Matthew Sanderfoot; seven great-grandchildren: Zion, Chloe, Caleb, Austin, Conner, Tyler and Dylan; sister, Florence (Bob) Wyngaard; brother, Clifford (Joan) Sanderfoot; and sister-in-law, Eunice Sanderfoot.
    He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Sanderfoot.
    The funeral liturgy will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2010, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, Kimberly Campus, 600 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly.
    The family extends a special thank you to the staffs at U.W. Hospital in Madison, St. Paul Home, and St. Elizabeth for their warm and compassionate care of Vince and his family.

    Raymond L. Sanderfoot, 73, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2005 at UW-Hospital and Clinics in Madison. Ray was born in Little Chute on January 19, 1932, son of the late Ted and Dorothy (Mueller) Sanderfoot. Ray attended Kimberly High School and excelled in track and field by setting individual and relay records. During his service in the United States Navy, he continued his running, and was named the captain of his naval track team. Following his discharge, he began his apprenticeship in the sheet metal trade and retired in 1987. Ray was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union # 18, the Kaukauna Elks Lodge #962, the Golden K Club, and the William Verhagen Post #60 in Kimberly, which will provide military honors at the cemetery on Tuesday. He was a talented bowler, golfer, and softball player, and he also enjoyed playing cards and following the Green Bay Packers.
    Ray was a master handyman, always willing to help family members or friends who needed work done. Crooked Lake was a favorite retreat for Ray. There he loved spending numerous hours on the water teaching his kids to ski an guiding pontoon boat rides for his grandkids. His wife, children, and grandchildren meant the world to him.

    Al and Elaine lived in West DePere for the first three years of marriage and then moved to the Fox Valley Area. They were a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, of Mackville, for 57 years. Elaine was a very proud wife, homemaker, and mother. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as traveling and embroidering.
    She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Albert J. Ebben, the proud parents of Shirley (Len) Kurey, Black Creek; Rosalie (Jim) Wurl, Seymour; Theresa (Lloyd) Mastrodonato, Shawano; Ronald (Susan) Ebben, Black Creek; Gerald (Lisa) Ebben, Appleton; Marylee (Joe) Wickersheim, Appleton; 18 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren. Three sisters: Patricia Murphy, Appleton; Evelyn Daul, Virginia; and Mary Pat Schiller, Green Bay. Elaine had many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
    Elaine was preceded in death by parents, Cornelius and Henrietta Sweere, brother, Orville H. Sweere, brother-in-law, Karl Daul, and many other relatives and friends.
    A Mass of Christian Burial for Elaine will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 25, 2015, at St. Edward Catholic Church, N2926 State Highway 47, Mackville, with Fr. Walter Stumpf officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday beginning at 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00. Visitation will continue at the church Saturday beginning at 9:30 A.M. until the time of service.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to American Cancer Society , 14 Tri Park Way #2, Appleton, WI, 54914.

    On January 27, 1960, she was united in marriage to Donald Huben.
    Rose is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Oneida. She enjoyed card playing, visits to the casino and going out to eat. Rose enjoyed caring for children and almost raised the entire neighborhood. She loved feeding the birds.

    God saw that you were tired and said, Liz come with me home to your eternal kingdom. Elizabeth M. Schmitz, age 80, died peacefully at Homestead Care Center on Monday, January 5, 2015. She was born April 2, 1934, the daughter of the late Martin and Minnie (Sanderfoot) Van Deraa.
    She married Renae Ott on September 6, 1952. She then married Paul Reichard on July 4, 1982. Paul preceded her in death on October 16, 1990. She then married John Schmitz, Jr. on August 27, 1995.
    Elizabeth worked several jobs over the years including Techumseh, the Larson Canning Factory and also provided home health care for several area residents, which was her true passion in life. She was always a caring person who loved everyone in which she came in contact with. Her pride and joy was always her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She adored each and every one of them. She enjoyed traveling with her sister Rose Ann and her husband Don. They traveled to many different places and always enjoyed seeing the different areas of the country. Liz also had a strong belief in angels and always expressed her faith that angels do exist.
    Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband John.     James C. Van Deraa "Jim", 72, Kaukauna, passed away Thursday night, Oct. 11, 2007, following a short illness. Jim was born April 25, 1935, the fourth child of the late Martin Sr. and Minnie (Sanderfoot) Van Deraa in Kimberly. He resided in Kaukauna most of his life. Jim married the former Leona "Lee" Mae Klitzke of Stockbridge on May 14, 1960. At a very young age, Jim began his career as a farm laborer. He also worked as a mason for some time. Jim then joined the City of Kaukauna Street Department and retired with 35 years of service. He loved watching stock car racing and traveled to many of the area tracks through the years and especially enjoyed watching his nephew, Mike, race on a dirt track. Jim avidly followed the NASCAR and Busch series. He enjoyed playing the slot machines and playing bingo with his wife and good friends. His favorite past time was watching old westerns over and over.
    For over 30 years, Jim helped his brother-in-law sell Christmas trees and looked forward to seeing his regular customers. He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Jim was one in a million.
    He is survived by his wife, Lee Van Deraa; his son, David L. Van Deraa; his daughter, Charlene A. Van Deraa, and her husband, Ronald A. Maass; a special granddaughter, Anna Rose Maass, who was born on his birthday; and his step-grandson, Kyle (Kristy) Maass; his sisters, Judith "Pippi" (Marvin) Vandevoort, Barbara (Randy) Moehr, Elizabeth (John) Schmitz and Rose Anne (Donald) Huben; his brothers, Jerome (Lorraine), Marvin (Phyllis) and Gerald (Jeannie); two sisters-in-law, Theresa Van Deraa and Joyce Van Deraa. He enjoyed playing sheepshead with family, and gambling on the slot machines in the casinos of Las Vegas and Wendover, NV as well as the local Wisconsin casinos even after suffering a major stroke a few years ago.

He was born September 24, 1938, in the Town of Freedom to the late Martin Sr. and Minnie (Sanderfoot) Van Deraa. On July 11, 1959, Marty married the former Joyce Heaney in Combined Locks. The couple lived in the Kaukauna area their entire married lives. Marty retired from employment at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing bingo and slots, and NASCAR racing. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
    He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joyce, Kaukauna, two daughters: Susan Van Deraa (Special friend, Perry Linskens) and Linda (Special friend, Roy Otto) Van Deraa, all of Kaukauna; seven grandchildren: Sarah and Michelle Kappell, Lindsey, Makayla and Derek Otto, Leah and Coty Petit; four brothers-in-law; Jerome (Renne), Marvin (Phyllis), Jim (Leona) and Jerry (Jeanne); a sister-in-law, Theresa Van Deraa, sisters and brothers-in-law: Judy (Marvin) Vandevoort, Rose Anne (Donald) Huben, Elizabeth (John) Schmitz and Barb (Randy) Moehr and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Marty was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara and a brother, Donald.

    Bob Schumann, age 84, of Kaukauna, passed away on Monday evening, June 2, 2014, following a long battle with cancer. Bob was born on February 11, 1930 in Kaukauna, son of the late Les and Dorothy (Sanderfoot) Schumann. On June 20, 1959 he was united in marriage to Audrey Just, and they would have celebrated 55 years of marriage this month. He was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Kaukauna.
    Bob was a salesman and bookkeeper at VanDynHoven Buick for many years. After retirement, he worked part time at Ghost Town Fitness where he opened up for the morning crew. Bob enjoyed golfing at Countryside Golf Course, casino trips with his wife, and was on several bowling leagues throughout the years. Bob served his country in the U.S. Army and on his church Board.
    In addition to his wife Audrey, Bob is survived by his four children: Julie (Carl) Vosters of Freedom; Eileen (Don) Nickols of Little Chute; Mike (Lucy) Schumann of Menasha; and Carrie Bera (special friend Troy Ruleford) of Kaukauna. His grandchildren are: Kelli (Tony) Verkuilen, Dawn (Jed) Manders, Cole (fiancé Michelle DeCoster), Willie (Haley) Nickols, Andy (Kaylyn) Nickols, Philip Nickols, Steve Nickols, Luke Schumann, Ted Schumann, Maggie Schumann, Dustin Zimmerman, and Dillon Bera. Bob also has nine great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother: Ken (Mary) Schumann of Green Bay and Audrey's sister: Rachel (Joe) Sanderfoot of Pickerel. His good friends include DuWayne and Shirley Wolf and Ken and Vi Pomeroy. In addition to Bob's parents, he was preceded in death by Audrey's parents: Ted and Laverne (Zuelke) Just and Audrey's infant brother Myron.
    The Christian Funeral for Bob will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 804 Grignon St., Kaukauna, with the Rev. Kurtis Mau officiating. Vollmer at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly. They shared 45 loving years of marriage before Jon passed away on November 12, 2004. Donna worked for many years as a cook at Nicolet school in Kaukauna before her retirement. She enjoyed growing test roses, camping, snowmobiling, and attending old car shows.

    Barbara Ann, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2012. She was born on May 18, 1955 in Appleton to Merlin and Willa Griesbach. In 1972, Barbara started her dedicated and long career at WE Energies. This year would have marked her 40th anniversary at WE Energies. On April 5, 1986 she married David Allen Pamperin. Together they created her greatest joys in life, Jonathon and Christopher. Being a mom was her first priority in life. Barb and the boys spent their time up North at their cottage fishing, swimming, and boating. She also found fun in gambling for entertainment sharing her motto, "It's my money and I will do what I want with it." Barb surrounded herself with love and laughter shared among family and friends. She led a Christian life driven by faith, hope, and humility. Barb was looking forward to welcoming her first grandchild for whom she will now be an angel watching over.
    Barb is survived by her sons, Jonathon (fiancé Jodi Peters) and Christopher Pamperin; mother, Willa Griesbach; sisters; Lois Baldwin (Griesbach), Patty (John) Jacobson-Hanig; and her brother, Herman (Patty) Griesbach. She is further survived by many relatives and friends.
    Barb is preceded in death by her father, Merlin Griesbach, infant brother and sister, maternal and paternal grandparents, and brother-in-law, Tim Hanig.
    A celebration service will be held on Tuesday, January
    10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Evangelical Church, N3505 State Hwy. 47, Appleton. Family and friends may visit at Valley Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday at the church from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. Entombment will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
    Barb's family would like to extend a special thanks to the first response team and ER staff at Appleton Medical Center.
    We will miss you, Mom! Thank you for all the special family memories we built together. We love you and we will make sure to pass your lessons and love onto your grandkids.

    Michael Van Deraa, Chilton, age 60, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. He was born in Chilton on November 27, 1955 to Donald and Theresa (La Plant) Van Deraa. Michael enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. He loved time spent with his family and friends.

    She graduated from Seymour High School, class of 1978. She did child care until poor health caused her to stop. She was an avid Green Bay packers fan. She also enjoyed the Milwaukee Brewers and Days of Our Lives. She took beautiful pictures and was the family photographer.
    Colleen is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Oneida.
    She is survived by her sister, Carol (Arlyn) Wilinski, Seymour; brothers: Gary (Julie) Huben, Oneida; and Donald Jr. (Kris) Huben, Seymour; nephews and nieces: Aaron (Lynn) Huben, Mitchell Huben (special friend, Sara), Jason Huben (special friend Katie), Alicia Huben, Emily (Paul) Ashman, Jennifer Wilinski (Goddaughter); two great- nephews: Lee and Axel.

    Brook M. Koester passed away unexpectedly on October 11, 2017 at her parent's home in Little Chute, at the age of 39 years. She had endured a life-time of health problems. Brook was a graduate of Kaukauna High School class of 1996. She was a CNA for five years at St. Paul Home.
    Brook was a very caring and loving mom, sister, daughter and friend to many. She enjoyed watching her daughter, Tiffani and her team play volleyball. Often her voice could be heard "Go Mustangs!" Brook had many happy moments attending auctions, rummage sales, flea markets and camping. She loved music, the Vikings, the color purple, collecting pigs and angels. She became a cat and dog lover, and had some special pals, bringing them for car rides to McDonald's. She cherished the little time she had with Tiffani.
    Brook is survived by her daughter Tiffani Rose, parents Tom and Rose Koester (Van Deraa), brother Travis (fiancée Penni Fritsch) Koester, maternal grandmother Theresa Van Deraa (LaPlant). Further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
    Preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Virgil and Thelma Koester, maternal grandfather Donald Van Deraa, and uncle Michael Van Deraa.
    A Funeral Service for Brook will be held on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home, 204 W. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly. Pastor Walt Steinbach presiding. Interment Kelso Cemetery, Kaukauna. Family and friends may gather Monday, October 16, 2017 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.
    She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
