She was born July 22, 1907 in Sevenum, Holland, daught er of the late Christiaan and Jacoba (Scheurs) Philipsen. She married Jam es Garvey April 29, 1929, sharing 32 years together before his death Decem ber 10, 1961. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Chris tian Mother's Alter Society.     Obituary:
    Rosella M. Peters, 83, of Seymour, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 4, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital, with her family by her side. She was born July 12, 1932, daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Brookman) Philipsen.
    She was united in marriage to Milton Peters on October 27, 1951, at St. Joseph's Church, Oneida. Milton preceded her in death on February 6, 2009.
    Rosie and Milton bought a farm, working hard together for many years. Rosie was the boss on the farm, as well as the head laborer and operations manager while Milt worked at the mill. While on the farm Rosie beat polio using the farm chores as her therapy. The couple stayed on the farm until retiring into Seymour.
    Rosie was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Seymour. In her younger days, Rosie and Milt enjoyed roller-skating and bowling with friends. They were also active members of the Isaar Trailriders and Dairyland snowmobile clubs.
    Rosie always had a nice garden and would be busy canning her harvest at the end of the year.
    She played a lot of card games over the years. Rosie also watched the Packers and the Brewers with enthusiasm. Visiting with her children, grandchildren, and nephews over lunch was one of her favorite things to do. She loved spending time with family and friends. Rosie's family and grandchildren were always her first priority.
    Her children will forever remember her as the most generous person they have ever known.
    Rosie is survived by her children: Mike (Sue) Peters, Medford; Jim (Terri) Peters, Pulaski; Diane Vonckx, Wilder, KY; Ken (Sandie) Peters, Seymour; John (special friend Sue) Peters, Seymour; Susan (Tim) Heezen, Denmark; and Donna (Keven) Diederich, Ashwaubenon; grandchildren: Mitch (Laura) Peters, Nicholas Peters, and Candice (Jason) Leichtman, Ryan Peters and Brent (special friend Tauna) Peters, Rob (Lauren) Vonckx and Derek Vonckx, Rob (Carla) Kohler, Stephanie (Mike) Wallerich, and Ashley Kohler, Justin Peters, Jill England, Tiffany (Joe) Marino, Matthew Scheible, Cory (special friend Amber) Diederich and Casey Diederich; great-grandchildren: Evan, Marissa, and Gary Peters, Zephyr Peters, Jaxon Elam, Sawyer Vonckx, Jude Kohler, Scarlett, Marlee, and Fisher Wallerich, Jaydan England, Nona, Dominick, and Layla Scheible, and Marco Marino. Also survived by her sister, Ruth Van Lanen; brothers-in-law: Seifred Jr. (Betty) Peters, and Don (Jeanne) Peters; and sister-in-law, Martha Peters.
    She is preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Peters; granddaughters: Melissa Peters and Rita Scheible; siblings: Virginia (Maynard) Krahn, Paul (Bernice) Philipsen, Alfred Philipsen; brothers-in-law: Randy Peters and Alvin Van Lanen.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at St. John Catholic Church from 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Father Brian Belongia officiating.     Randall, Loretta M. (nee Garvey), Appleton, age 77, died Wednesday, August 29, 2007, at Franciscan Care Center. Loretta was born March 12, 1930, to the late James P. and Minnie (Philipson) Garvey. She graduated with the class of 1948 at Appleton High School. In May of 1962, Loretta was united in marriage with David Randall. He preceded her in death in 1997. She worked for many years with the Department of Taxation both in Appleton and Milwaukee. She was an avid Milwaukee Braves and Brewers fan. She was a member at St. Mary Catholic Church, Appleton.
    She is survived by her brother, Dan (Patty) Garvey, Wrightstown; her sister-in-law Doris Garvey, Neenah; further survived by many nieces and nephews and her special cousins Joan Murphy and Lorayne Evers.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a brother Emmett "Red" Garvey.
    A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 1, at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Michael O'Rourke officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
    The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Mary Ellen at Franciscan Care Center and to Dr. John Elisberg for their kindness, care and concern.

Oneida, WIJeffrey Lee Van Lanen, age 33, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2003 fr om a courageous battle with aggressive T-Cell Lymphoma Non-Hodgkins cance r, with family around him at an area hospital. He was born July 5, 19 70 to Ruth and Alvin Van Lanen, Seymour, WI. He graduated in 1990 from Sey mour High School. Jeff worked a variety of different jobs throughout the y ears. He enjoyed helping on the family farm. Jeff also enjoyed attending a rea race tracks and watching his favorite driver #72 Brian Mullen. He enjo yed NASCAR and the Packers. On July 30, 1994, he married Ginger Schl ey at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Tisch Mills, WI.He is survived by his wife, Ginger; two sons: Travis and Timothy, at hom e; his parents: Ruth and Alvin Van Lanen, Oneida; three sisters and two br others: Judy Sigl and special friend, Chris Wagner, Seymour; Joan (Dann y) Pingel, Shawano; Janet (Dennis) Kohn, Gillett; Tom and special frien d, Jean Elsen, Black Creek; Pat (Karen) Van Lanen, Seymour.     Dean "Hound Dog" Garvey, age 52, passed away on Thursday May 22, 2014 at his home. He was born on June 28, 1961 in Neenah, son of Leah Garvey and the late Emmett Garvey. Dean was a graduate of Menasha High School. He owned and operated F.A.S.T. Auto since 2002. He loved working on cars and going up north jet skiing, 4 wheeling and snowmobiling. Dean would help anyone in need, he cared about everyone and gave his time and resources. He was a dear friend to tons of people.
    Dean is survived by his mother, Leah Garvey; son Andrew Garvey; brother, Michael (Cindy) Garvey; sister, Cheri ( Virgil Van Asten) Becker; half -brother, Jim half- sister, Ruth; nieces and nephews Mike, Becky, Nick, Jan, Elliott and Lainey, other relatives and friends.
    Memorial Service will be at 11:00am on Saturday May 31, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street, Menasha; with Father Paul Paider officiating. Friends and family may visit at the CHURCH from 10:00 am until the time of service.
