    Biese, Elzer H.Elzer H. Biese, 78, W3517 Cemetery Rd., Seymour, died Monday evening, Dec. 3, 2001, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. He was born Aug. 18, 192 3, in the Town of Wrightstown, son of the late Henry and Catherine (Van As ten) Biese. On June 22, 1946, he was united in marriage to Rita Vanden Heu vel in Seymour and shared over 55 years together. Elzer farmed in the To wn of Seymour on the home farm. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Ca tholic Church, Seymour, and of the Catholic Knights, Branch 197. He w as a member of the Town of Seymour Rural Fire Department for 55 year s. He served as secretary of the Seymour Rural Fire Department for ov er 20 years. He served on the Town Board for 40 years and was Town Chairm an for 20 years. He enjoyed playing cards, bowling, gardening, his fami ly pets and visiting with family, friends and neighbors, especially his ch ildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.     Obituary:
    Robert H. Biese, age 77, of Black Creek, passed away Friday, December 7, 2007, in Appleton following a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born July 1, 1930, to the late Henry and Catherine (Van Asten) Biese. Robert served in the U.S. Army during the reconstruction period of WWII. On July 20, 1963, he was united in marriage to Rose Hansen. He was one of the first veal farmers in Wisconsin and worked at Kimberly-Clark for 15 years. Robert enjoyed golf in his later years and had a quick wit and a great sense of humor. He was very dedicated to his family and raising his 8 children.
    Survivors include: his wife, Rose; his eight children: Ken (Dawn) Biese, Freedom; Lisa (Warren) Jones, CA; Paul (Joan) Biese, Seymour; Kurt (Lene D'Hondt) Biese, Appleton; Kevin (Tamra) Biese, Hortonville; Michael (Joanne Becker) Biese, CA; Kim Marie (Jeff) Adams, MN; Matthew (Angela) Biese, Black Creek. He is further survived by 10 grandchildren, Karli, Megan, Kyle, Tristan, Jacob, Logan, Kadie, Dillon, Nathan, Jade; 3 sisters, Jane Mc Cormick, Green Bay; LaVerne (Joseph) Vande Corput, Pulaski; Kathleen Biese, Appleton; 2 brothers, Don (Lillian) Biese, Kimberly; Marvin Biese, Kaukauna; sister-in-law, Rita Biese, Seymour; father-in-law, Harold Hansen.
    He was preceded in death by: his brother, Elzer Biese; a brother-in-law, Robert Mc Cormick; mother-in-law, Florence Hansen.
    Friends may call at St. Edward's Catholic Church, Mackville, on Tuesday, December 11, 2007, from 9 a.m. to noon. Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon with Father Justin Werner officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be made at

    Dennis Henry Biese, age 61, of Kimberly, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Appleton Medical Center. Dennis was born on February 7, 1953 in Appleton, to Donald Biese and Shirley (Coenen) Carlson. He married Susan Dake on October 12, 1973, in Kimberly. He was a loving husband, son, father, brother and uncle. Dennis was employed at Appleton Papers for 42 years. He was well-known for his love of life and his generous sense of humor. Dennis enthusiastically played and coached his adult baseball and basketball teams for many years, as well as coaching youth sports teams. Dennis also enjoyed fishing and especially the time spent at Enchanted Forest for over two decades.
    Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Susan; his sons, Jared (friend Becky Kroll) and Curtis; his brothers and sisters, Deborah Sutton, Nancy Biese, Cheryl Wydeven, Mary (Dan) Fritz, Kay (Donn) Golden, David (Ann) Biese, Lori (Barney) Lopas, Joyce Biese and Patricia Canter. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dennis was preceded in death by his brother Mark and his sister Janet Riesterer; his step-father, Norman Carlson; his brothers-in-law, Butch Sutton and Leon Probst; and his nephew, Tommy Sutton.
    There will be a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, October 23, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the JANSEN FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 204 East Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly. There will also be a Celebration of Dennis' Life on Friday, October 24th, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Tanners, 730 S. Railroad Street, Kimberly. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Dennis' name. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com

    They are survived by their parents: Dan and Faith, of Berlin; grandparents: Phillip (Julie) Medinger, Manitowoc, John Peterson, Green Lake, Rebecca Hamilton, Elroy; 8 aunts and uncles.
    A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
