    Yuletide Road Toll in Area Mounts to Four
    A Hortonville woman and her infant daughter, a rural Redgranite man a nd an Oneida man were killed in Fox Cities area accidents over the long we ekend.
    Mrs. Vera Kippenhan, 22, Route 1, Hortonville, and her daughter, Ree n, 1, were killed in a head-on collision on highway 57 about five miles no rth of Plymouth early Monday evening. Her husband and the driver of the o ther car were critically injured and five other persons were hospitaliz ed at Plymouth.
    In the Plymouth accident, the Kippenhan car, driven by Ronald Kippenha n, 24, collided with a car driven by Mrs. Alyce M. Geske, 34, Milwauke e. Kippenhan suffered a broken right thigh, a broken jaw and leg, neck a nd facial lacerations. Mrs. Geske suffered leg injuries, fractured nos e, facial lacerations and other injuries.
    The Kippenhan's were returning from a holiday visit with Dr. John Kippe nhan, Cedarburg, Ronald's brother.
    The Kippenhan boy, Shawn, about 2, was hospitalized for observation. T he Kippenhan's formerly lived in Appleton and Kippenhan is employed at Vor phal's Upholstery, Town of Menasha.
    Hospitalized passengers in the Geske car included Richard Geske, 42, t he husband and former Whitefish Bay High School football coach, with brok en thigh and knee and facial lacerations; Patty Geske, 8, body laceratio ns and contusions; Rickie Geske, 5, leg contusions and shock, and Dennis S ullivan, 11, Elgin, Ill. with a puncture leg injury.
    Funeral services for Mrs. Kippenhan and Reen will be at 2 p.m. Frida y, at St. John United Church of Christ, Appleton, with burial in Highla nd Memorial Park. Beside her son and widower, Mrs. Kippenhan is surviv ed by her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Emery J. Krueger, Appleton, eight brothe rs and four sisters. Reen is also survived by her paternal grandparents, M r. and Mrs. John Kippenhan, Appleton.

    Two Killed, Seven Injured In Crash
    A mother and her 18 month-old daughter were killed and seven others inj ured in a head-on collision which occurred on Highway 57, one half mile so uth of County Trunk JJ in the town of Rhine.
    Killed in the accident were Mrs. Vera Kippenhan, 24, of route 1, Horton ville, and her daughter, Reen.
    Mrs. Kippenhan's husband and her son Shawn, 2, were still in critical c ondition Tuesday afternoon at the Plymouth Hospital, Others injured in t he crash, all passengers in the second card, were:
    Mrs. Alyce M. Geske, 34, 4538 N. Marlbough St., Milwaukee who receiv ed lacerations to both legs, contusions to the chest, fractured nose, lace rations to the face and shock.
    Her husband Richard, 42, a former football coach at Whitefish Bay Hi gh School - fractured thigh, lacerations to the knee and face.
    Their daughter Patty, 8, lacerations to the body, abrasions and bruises .
    Their son, Ricky, bruised left knee.
    Dennis Sullivan, 11, of Elgin, Illinois, puncture wound of the left leg .
    Mr. Kippenhan received a fractured right thigh, a broken jaw, and lacer ations to the right leg, neck and face. He was also being treated for sho ck. Their son, Shawn, suffered a head injury and a possible fractured col larbone.
    Mr. and Mrs. Geske were reported in fair condition and may be transferr ed to a Milwaukee hospital later this week. Their two children and the Su llivan boy were discharged after treatment.
