    Obituary:
    ROBERT EICK, 68, of Brillion, employed by the Calumet County Highway Commission, was accidentally killed Wednesday afternoon when his clothing caught in the sprocket of a gravel crusher he was operating in Bishop's gravel pit in Sherwood, six miles from Brillion.
    Mr. Eick was trying to break ice from the machine when his clothing and arm were drawn into the crusher. The coroner announced after an inquest that his death was caused by shock and was instantaneous.
    Born Dec. 19, 1877, in Brillion, a son of August Eick, he had been a farmer west of the city until 1930 when he removed to Brillion which has been his home since. Mr. Eick had been in the employ of the commission for the past 17 years. He was a former supervisor from the town of Brillion, which post he held for 11 years.
    His wife, the former Mary Redig, who he married 42 years ago, survives with one son, Atty. Edward S. Eick of Chilton, and one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Stanelle of Forest Junction. He also leave two brothers, Edward C of Portland, Ore., and Leonard of Oakland, Calif.; and five sisters, Mrs. Martha Harsch, Mrs. Anna Bierman and Mrs. Tillie of Portland; Mrs. Amelia Newhouse of Oregon city, Ore., and Mrs. Clara Herrmann of Dundee, ore., and four grandchildren.
    Mr. Eick was a member of the Modern Woodmen. Funeral will be at St. Mary's Catholic church where Rev. Raymond Schauer will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
