    Veronica "Verona" Gloudemans, 93, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016. Verona was born in Appleton on March 10, 1923 to the late Martin and Mary (Van Domlen) Van Gompel. She was the youngest of 14 children. Verona married Ted Gloudemans at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. She and Ted lived in Kimberly before moving to Kaukauna. Verona was a member of St. John Parish and the National Catholic Forester.
    Verona is survived by two daughters; Judy(Jan) Albers, and Pat (Mike) Weiland, a daughter-in-law Helen Gloudemans, eight grandchildren; Gina (Matt) Ruys, Rick (fiancée Diane Thompson) Albers, Tammy (Carlos) Gonzalez, Renne (Zach) Price, Katie (special friend Josh Mocarski) Weiland, Tracy (Matt) Boeing, Kelly (Mike) Horn and Kari (fiancée John Demers) Jahnke, great grandchildren; Kristin Ruys, Mitchel Ruys, Erin Ruys, Katie Ruys, Brandon Horn, Justin Horn, Skyler Gonzalez, Electra Gonzalez, Trystan Gonzalez, Nevaeh Price, Livian Price, and Nora Boeing, her in-laws; Maureans and Lola Vanden Wyngaard.
    Verona was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ted, a son Jerry, and her siblings; Art Van Gompel, Ed (Bernettna)Van Gompel, Hank (Harriet) Van Gompel, Marty (Dena) Van Gompel, Rich (Delores) Van Gompel, Elmer (Joyce) Van Gompel, Clare (Ruth) Van Gompel, Jim (Adis) Van Gompel, Mayme (Oscar) Huss, (Ceil) Vanden Wyngaard, Rose (John) Plach, Angie (Jim) Schroeder and Grace (Thurman) Reeves and a brother-in-law, Bill Gloudemans.
    In keeping with Verona's wishes a private family service was held on Thursday, April 14, 2016. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
    To all of Atrium Post Acute Care of Little Chute, St. John's Parish (Father Ron, Deacon George and Jerry), the 8th floor care team at Theda Care Hospital, Dr. Russo, Dr. Awe, and Theda Care Hospice, and everyone who helped us through our time of turmoil, our gratitude will always be in our hearts.

    Gloudemans, Gerald, "Jerry ", Gerald "Jerry" Gloudemans, 62, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly ear ly Tuesday morning, June 29, 2004, at a local hospital. Born June 19, 194 2, in Appleton, he is the son of Veronica (Van Gompel) Gloudemans and t he late Theodore Gloudemans. Jerry married Helen Doering on Feb. 8, 196 4, in Kaukauna. He worked as a pressman at both the Appleton Post Cresce nt and Milwaukee Journal for many years. Jerry then owned and operated We st Mason Shoe Repair. He will be remembered for his enjoyment of huntin g, fishing and snowmobiling. Jerry loved the time he spent at his cotta ge up north.He is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Kelly and Michael Hor n, Sobieski; and Kari Jahnke, Green Bay; and their mother, Helen Gloudeman s, Green Bay; two grandsons, Brandyn and Justin Horn, Sobieski; his mothe r, Veronica Gloudemans, Kaukauna; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy a nd Jan Albers, Kimberly; Pat and Mike Wieland, Kimberly; nieces and nephew s.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Gloudemans.Private Funeral services were held at WEST MASON MALCORE Funeral Home (499 -4100).Jerry's family extends a special thank you to the staff and many frien ds of the Baird Home for their care and support.
