    Raymond G. Ambrosius Sr., 82, Seymour, passed on to eternal rest on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at home, with his family by his side. He was born Aug. 10, 1928, in Brown County, son of the late Leonard and Minnie (Dennison) Ambrosius.
    He married Lucille M. Rudzinski on Feb. 16, 1952, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Hofa Park. They shared 53 wonderful years together until her death in September 2005. Ray and Lucille farmed most of their lives in the Town of Cicero until their retirement in 1994.
    Ray served in the United States Army with the 235th Field Artillary Observation Battalion during the Korean Conflict. He belonged to the American Legion Post 106 in Seymour.
    He was a volunteer for the East Cicero Volunteer Fire Department for 26 years. Ray was an active member at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Seymour since 1959.
    Ray always enjoyed a good laugh, playing cards, baseball, watching things grow, and especially spending time with his family.
    He is survived by his children, Joseph (Mary) Ambrosius, Green Bay; Ken (Cindy) Ambrosius, Palmer, A.K.; Audrey (Jim) Barribeau, Little Chute; Susan Ambrosius, Marathon, Fla.; Mary Jo (Tybo) Wilhelms, Holland, Ohio; Gail Ambrosius, Madison; Connie (Barry) Patton, Harrisville, N.H.; Ray Jr. (Cathy) Ambrosius, Appleton; Carl (Denise) Ambrosius, Eagle River; Chris (Harlan) Drephal, Seymour; 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Grace Landwehr, Beulah Van Schyndel, Ethel (Robert) Liebergen; sisters-in-law, Marcella Ambrosius, Rose Kleist, Esther Marlewski, Evelyn (Harvey) Pertulla, Rita Rudzinski; brother-in-law, Stanley (Irene) Rudzinski; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
    In addition to his parents and his wife, Lucille, Ray was preceded in death by sisters, Reda (Joe) Gerbers, Stella (Bernard) Treml, Rita (Lloyd) Cleven; a brother, Vernon Ambrosius; brothers-in-law, Carl Landwehr, Tony Van Schyndel, John (Johanna) Rudzinski, Frank Rudzinski, Leonard Rudzinski, Leonard Marlewski, Russel Kleist; sister-in-law, Celia (John) Bluma.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Wednesday, July 6, 2011, from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, July 7, 2011, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. Bob Kabat and Ray's son, Deacon Ray Ambrosius, officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery with military honors by the Seymour American Legion Post #106.

    Joseph F. Ambrosius, 61, of Green Bay, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at Unity's Jack & Engrid Meng Residence in De Pere. He was born December 2, 1952, son of the late Raymond and Lucille (Rudzinski) Ambrosius.
    Joe was a 1971 graduate of Seymour High School and was employed at La Force Inc. in Green Bay where he was loved and respected by so many. Joe enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren, family and friends, mission work in the Dominican Republic, and he was always willing to help others. He enjoyed the outdoors and working on various special projects with his children and grandchildren.
    He is survived by his son, Nate (Amy) Ambrosius, Green Bay; his daughter, Laura (Jeremy) Rowell, Green Bay; grandchildren: Kalissa, Austin, Bradly, Jonathan, and Cameron; siblings: Ken (Cindy) Ambrosius, Palmer, AK; Audrey (Jim) Barribeau, Goodman; Susan (Eric) Ambrosius, Marathon, FL; Mary Jo (Tybo) Wilhelms, Holland, OH; Gail Ambrosius, Madison; Connie (Barry) Patton, N.H.; Ray Jr. (Cathy) Ambrosius, Sturgeon Bay; Carl (Denise) Ambrosius, Eagle River; Chris (Harlan) Drephal, Iola; also survived by the mother of Nate and Laura, Theresa (Michael) Havlik; many nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 8 p.m. and visitation will continue on Friday, December 5, 2014 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral mass at 11 a.m. with Fr.     In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established to offset Joe's journey expenses and to continue his mission work in the Dominican Republic.
    A special thank you to all the medical staff and special people too numerous to mention who helped Joe through his journey.
