    Golden, Anita "Nita"Nita Golden, age 97, died Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at St. Paul Elder Se rvice in Kaukauna. She was born June 6, 1908, in Kaukauna, the daught er of the late George and Anna (McDaniel) Brenzel. Nita married Joseph Gol den in 1940 and he preceded her in death in June of 1971. She graduated fr om Kaukauna High School and went to secretarial school for two years. Ni ta was a secretary in her younger years and in her later years was employ ed as a cook in various schools and other facilities.Nita is survived by her sons: Michael (Jane) Golden of Sacramento, CA; Pat rick (Joan) Golden of Hackensack, MN; and Daniel (Rebecca Carlson) Gold en of Madison; seven grandchildren: John (Melissa) Golden, Catherine (Mich ael) Smith, Elizabeth Golden, Carrin (James) Reid, Terry (Kevin) Peterei t, Erin Golden and David (Nesrin) Witt; and six great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers: Geor ge (Georgia) Brenzel, Lester "Cooney" (Angela) Brenzel, Gerard "Lardy" (Du tch) Brenzel, Warren "Bugs" (Viola) Brenzel and Russell "Rupp" (Norma) Bre nzel; and her sister, Grace (James) Golden.The funeral liturgy for Nita will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Novemb er 29, 2005 at ST. FRANCIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Hollandtown, with Father Mar ty Fox officiating. Interment will take place at the Parish Cemetery. Frie nds may call at the Church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mas s.Special thanks to the staff at St. Paul Elder Service for their excelle nt care and compassion shown to our mother.
