Conrad, Eva M.Eva M. Conrad, age 85, Freedom, beloved mother, grams and more grams pass ed away on Saturday, November 5, 2005, following a courageous battle wi th cancer. She was born June 8, 1920, in Little Chute, the daughter of t he late Theodore and Hattie (Hieptas) Lamers. On October 30, 1943, she mar ried Norbert Conrad in Park Ridge, New Jersey. Eva worked all her li fe at home caring for her family. She was a member of St. Nicholas Cathol ic Church, Christian Mother Society, and the VFW Freedom Post 7692 Auxilia ry. Eva will be sadly missed by her family and friends.Eva is survived by three children and their spouses: Sharon (Clarence) Van Handel of Freedom; Kathy (Mel) Brockman of Freedom; and Jerry (Sandy) Conr ad of Appleton; daughter-in-law, Linda (Dan) Vosters of Freedom; 11 grandc hildren: Missy (Kevin) VerVoort, Patty (Bruce) Opperman, Tammy (Scott) Cor rigan, Randy, Jeffrey, Larry (Kelly) VanHandel, Beth Ann (Roger) Edelbur g, Sarah (Mark) McGrath, Jenny (Ryan) McSorley, Tony (Lillie) Conrad and D avid (Jessie) Conrad. 19 great-grandchildren that loved more grams: Ashle y, Halie, and Amber VerVoort, Matthew, Mason, Madalyn, and Marshal Opperma n, Emily and Jared Corrigan, Tammi Peters, Jasmine VanHandel, Jake, Josh a nd Chloe VanHandel, Andrew and Samantha Edelburg, Mitchell McGrath, Dust in and Savannah McSorley. Sisters-in-law: Celeste Lamers of Shawano; Mari on Lamers of Appleton; and Irene Lamers of Appleton; stepsister, Mary (Bil l) Liskow, step-sisters-in-law: Zeta Mullen and Delores Mullen. Sisters-in -laws: Harriet Conrad of Freedom, Blanche Vandenberg of Freedom; and Mari on Conrad of Appleton; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.She is preceded in death by her husband, Norbert and son, Wayne Conrad a nd great-grandson, Jeffrey VanHandel, Jr. Five brothers: Robert, Richar d, Ivo, LeRoy, and Cliff Lamers. Stepmother Anna (Mullen) Lamers, stepbrot hers: Emory and Francis Mullen and stepsister, Ruth Plamann. Six brothers- in-law: Walter, John, Joseph, Earl, Bill Conrad and Quentin Vandenberg; si sters-in-law: Ann Hietpas, Marion Jansen, Rosella VandenBoom and Agnes Ber gman.The funeral liturgy for Eva will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, November 1 0, 2005, at ST. NICHOLAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Freedom, with Father John Schuet ze officiating. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery. Friends may ca ll at the church on Thursday from 1 p.m. until time of the mass. In li eu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Dr. Robe rt Geller, Jenny Greiner and the oncology staff and Dr. Ayanrino at St. El izabeth's Hospital.
