- Geraldine Noie, Prayers for Geraldine M Noie, 58, of Buffalo Grove, will be said at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, at the Glueckert funeral home Arlington Heights Road Arlington Heights, followed by 8:10 a.m. Mass at St. Mary 's Church Buffalo Grove. Born January 31st, 1940, in Chicago, she died Sunday, June 28th, 1998 at Loyola Medical Center, Maywood. Internment will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Mrs. Noie was a retired head nurse at the VA Research Hospital in Chicago, and was most recently a volunteer lunchroom supervisors for Longfellow school. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Noie of Buffalo Grove, her sons, Thomas (Jennifer) of South Bend Indiana, Christopher (Jennifer) of Arlington Heights and Patrick of Buffalo Grove, daughters, Jennifer of Palatine and Amy of Buffalo Grove, mother, Anna McCarter of Chicago and father in law, Norbert Noie of Kaukauna, grandson, Tyler of South Bend Indiana, brothers, Richard (Roseanna) McCarter of Chicago, Thomas (Gail) McCarter of Lombard and James (Lori) McCarter of Willoe Springs, and her sisters, Patricia (Adam) DiMarzio of Snyder N.Y., Sue McCarter of Chicago and Margaret (Jerome) Serwa of Grayslake. Nine nieces and nephews also survived. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard McCarter. Visitation will be from 3 to 9:00 p.m. today at the funeral home.
