Her finger-tip veil edged with lace was held by a crown of flowers. She carried a shower bouquet of pink and white carnations. Her three-strand pearl necklace was a gift of the groom.
Miss Phyllis Henke, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid in a gown of Nile green marquisette with a fitted bodice and sweetheart neckline and bracelet-length sleeves and a full skirt. Her headdress was a band of flowers and she carried an arm bouquet of yellow carnations. She wore a double-strand pearl necklace, a gift of the bride.

Following the ceremony a dinner and reception were held at the bride's home for 50 guests. In the evening, a wedding dance and shower were held at the Mileaway pavilion.
After a honeymoon trip through the Black Hills and the Yellowstone Park, the bride and groom will make their home in Cadott.
The bride was graduated from the Stanley high school with the class of 1938 and has been employed for the past five years at Thorp. The groom spent 3½ years in military service and since his release from service has been working as a carpenter in Cadott.
