- WEDDING: Beaver Dam Argus, Thursday, July 9, 1931, page 4.Miss Germaine Schlude, daughter of Mrs. Mary Schlude of Kaukauna, Wis., and Wm. J. Geschel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Geschel of this city were united in marriage at seven o'clock Tuesday morning, July 7th, at the chapel of the Carmelite Fathers on Holy Hill near Hartford, Wis., the ceremony being performed by Rev. Father Heinz in the presence of a gathering of relatives and friends. Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Hollihan of this city, the latter a sister of the groom. A dinner was served to the wedding party at the home of the bride's sister, Mr. Wm. C. Fiebelkorn, 109 Cleveland street, this city. Mr. and Mrs. Geschel left immediately after the dinner on a few days honeymoon trip which will be spent at points in northern Wisconsin and on their return will make their home at 212 Henry street. The bride-groom is the distributor of the Milwaukee Journal in this territory and his bride was formerly an instructor in the public schools at Kaukauna. Out of town guests at the wedding included Mrs. W. Sommers and son Paul of Appleton, Mrs. L. J. Brenzel and children, Miss Frances Gerend and Mrs. Mary Schlude of Kaukauna."
