  Evelyn Emma Lillge, 83, Appleton, has gone to be with her Lord and husband in heaven on Sunday, March 18, 2007. She was born July 27, 1923, to the late Ernest and Ida (Plamann) Spring-stroh in Freedom. Evelyn graduated from Freedom High School in 1941, and proudly played on the Appleton Merchant's girls softball team. She married Harold Lillge Dec. 2, 1944, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Freedom. Among her places of employment were: AAL, Peterson-Rehbein Meat Market and Sears until her retirement. Evelyn was a member of the City of Appleton Fireman's Auxiliary for many years. She was a very active faithful member of Bethany Lutheran Church where she served her Lord on the Altar Guild. Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Sheryl (Daniel) Hanke, Sparta; Debra (Donald) Miller, Appleton; grandchildren, Kristi Jenson, Nathan Hanke, Kari Hanke, Chad Miller, Stephanie (Phillip) Luehring, Timothy Miller and Michelle Miller; great-granddaughter, Emma Luehring; sisters-in-law, Verona Lillge and Gladys Krueger. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; brothers, Marlin (Ellen) Springstroh and Lawrence (Melda) Springstroh. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Bethany Lutheran Church, with Rev. Mark Henke and Daniel Hanke officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be Tuesday at the church, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. A memorial fund is being established. Valley Funeral Home 2211 N.
