  Sr. Rosalene Van Elzen, a member of the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters passed away. She made her vowed commitment to the Franciscan Sisters in 1936. She was born September 27, 1909 in Kimberley, WI and entered eternal life of January 24, 2009. She had six brothers and six sisters and is survived by one sister, Agnes Knabenbauer and nieces and nephews. She was the loving daughter of the late John and Nellie Van Elzen. A prayer and wake service was held on Monday, Jan. 26, 2009 at the Our Lady of Angels Chapel 26W171 Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, IL 60187. A mass of Christian was held today at 11 a.m. also at the Chapel.
