  FORMER APPLETON MAN DIES AT SON'S HOME Kaukauna - Michael Demerath, 67, died at 12:45 Saturday morning at the home of his son, Frank, Green Bay Rd. He was born at Saukville, Oct. 16, 1848 and moved to Appleton in 1899, living there until May of this year, when he came to Kaukauna. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William Hoffman, St. John, one step-son, Peter Schetter, New London, six sons, Michael, Ingomer, Mont; Joseph, Freedom; John, Brunswich, Neb.; Frank, Kaukauna, Adam, Wauwautosa; Servatius, Milwaukee; one sister, Mrs. Katherine Schaeffer, McHenry, Ill. He was a member of Holy Name society and St. Joseph society of St. Joseph church, Appleton. The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning in Holy Cross church. Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery, Appleton
