Hooyman, Robert "Bob" age 81, of Minnetonka, Minnesota, died July 11, 2013. He is survived by: his wife of 57 years, Lorena; sons, Joe (Deb) and Loren (Ann); daughter, Bobbi; grandchildren, Bryan (Sara), Andrew, Maddie, Lily and Joe; great-grandchildren, Sidney and Aiden; brother, Les (Jean) Hooyman. Preceded in death by brothers, Ray and Ralph and sister, Mary. A long time parishioner of St. Joan of Arc, Bob was passionate about many issues, but especially womens' rights and the roles of women in the church. Funeral service will be held at St. Joan of Arc Church, 4537 3rd Ave. S., Minneapolis, on Wednesday, July 17 with visitation from 12:30-2 PM, service at 2 PM followed by burial in the Memorial Garden at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to ICA (Minnetonka) or the Outreach Fund at St. Joan of Arc would be welcome. Published in Star Tribune on July 14, 2013
