  Sylvia (Koletzke) Nabbefeld, 85, Appleton, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2007, with her children at her side. She was born Nov. 26, 1921, in Appleton to Meta (Pauls) and Werner Koletzke. She attended Zion school, graduated from Appleton High School, and worked a variety of jobs during her life in Appleton. She enjoyed dance since childhood, and for a period taught tap dance. Her hobby of reading biographies reflected her interest in people. She enjoyed time spent with her family, particularly holidays, traveling, playing cards and cooking. Her most satisfying accomplishment was raising her four children, who will be forever grateful for her love and devotion. Sylvia will be sadly missed by her children, Jean Ann Sether, Ralph (Helen) Nabbefeld, Robert Nabbefeld (Richard Mentzel), and Nancy (Jim) Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters and three brothers. Visitation for Sylvia will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Valley Funeral Home from 3 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Valley Funeral Home 2211 N. Richmond Street
