  Mary "Dolly" Schuerer, age 84, of Menasha, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday morning, April 26, 2007. She was born and raised in her Menasha home to Viola and Oscar Schuerer on June 22, 1922, and graduated from St. Mary High School in 1940. Dolly was employed at One Hour Martinizing, until she retired. Dolly enjoyed her life and found great joy in her many shopping trips. She also immensely enjoyed spending time with her many nieces and nephews who visited her on Sundays and family gatherings. Some of her favorite things to do were to take her nieces when they were young on grand shopping trips, riding the city bus and spending all day in downtown Appleton. In addition, she loved to play endless board games and cards with her family members. She was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan and enjoyed building puzzles with her friends at Geri Care of Neenah where she currently lived. She enjoyed watching birds outside her bedroom windows, as well as watching the young adults playing tennis at St. Mary Central High School. She also appreciated the many visits she received from her loved ones. As a loving sister, aunt and friend she will be sadly missed by her sister Millie Verbrick, her brother Tom (Betty) Schuerer, and sister-in-law Rosalind Schuerer along with many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Viola (Wagner) Schuerer, her brothers Frank "Hans" and Robert "Bob" Schuerer, and her brother-in-law Tom Verbrick. Her laughter, gentle ways and sweet smile will be sadly missed. Funeral services for Dolly will be held on Friday, May 4, 2007, at 11:30 a.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second St., Menasha. Friends and family will be received at church from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of the funeral mass. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
