  Van Groll, Roberta R. "Bobbie" Roberta Van Groll, 57, Town of Vandenbroek, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 13, 2009, after a short illness with her family by her side. Bobbie was born April 22, 1951, in Appleton, daughter of Robert and Shirley (Subert) Lettau. Roberta married the love of her life, Jim Van Groll on August 14, 1980. Bobbie was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. She was known for her craftiness and loved embroidery, as well as sewing. Bobbie loved cooking for her family, camping, and decorating within the home. She had a love for dogs, especially her pet, Cleo. Bobbie was a family woman who cherished her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed spoiling all of her family. Roberta is survived by her husband, Jim; sons: Ben (special friend Katie) Van Groll and their children, Kiara and Brady, Rob Van Groll; daughter, Barbara Van Groll; sister, Sandy (Eugene) Verhagen; brothers: Joe (Connie), Mike, Jerry (Nancy) Lettau; brothers-in-law: Roger (Beth), Norbert, Dennis (LeaAnn) Van Groll; sisters-in-law: Laverne (Wallie) Squier, Janice (Allen) Schumacker; further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents and father- and mother-in-law, William (Barbara) Van Groll. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 Pine Street, Little Chute, with Fr. David Funk, O.F.M. Cap. officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 8:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established. "You are our sunshine.
