  Delores M. "Bess" Mollen, Kaukauna, age 82, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2010, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on May 24, 1928, in Kaukauna, daughter of the late John and Grace (Gurden) Effa. On May 11, 1948, she was married to Francis "Fuzz" Mollen at Holy Cross Catholic Church and together they celebrated 50 years of marriage. Dolores was employed at Luedtke's Five & Dime for over 25 years until her retirement. She enjoyed baking, knitting and was a gamer at the casinos. The true joys in her life were her grandchildren and great-grandson. She is survived by her children: Lynn (Jim) Sefren, Lake George, NY, John (Lori) Mollen, Greenleaf, and Patty (Gary Wolf) Vanden Heuvel, Hortonville; two grandsons: Matt Mollen and Mike (Amanda) Mollen; a great-grandson, Chandler Mollen. Bess is further survived by a sister-in-law Mary Liskow, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Fuzz, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bill Liskow, Zita Mollen, Emery Mollen and Ruth Plamann. Funeral services for Dolores will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2010, at the BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, (920-766-2099) with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of services. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks and gratitude to Gene and Mary Huss for everything they have done for Dolores over the years.
