Diane E. Diaz, 60, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. She was born on August 23, 1948 in New London, WI to the late William and Elinor (Nitzske) Kuhnke. She is survived by her brothers, Roger (Misako) Kuhnke, Ronald (Val) Kuhnke and William (Helga) Kuhnke; sisters, Rosey (Becky) Pues, Pat (John) Paulson, Betty (Bruce) Ladwig, Carol (Chet) Prellwitz and Barbara (Sam) Hernandez; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters. Diane was a member of the Moose Lodge in Zion for many years and was an avid bowler and BINGO player. She had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed and always loved by her family and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee, IL.
