  Carol M. Jacobs, age 69, of 2400 Illinois Ave., New Holstein, died Sunday, April 29, 2007. She was born October 12, 1937, in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Robert & Rose Mary (Smith) Werner. She attended school in Oshkosh. On April 19, 1958, she married Robert Jacobs in Oshkosh; he preceded her in death on March 26, 2005. Carol had worked as a waitress for different area restaurants and had also worked in customer service for area businesses. Carol was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein, the Christian Women's Society, the Catholic Knights and had served as a Girl Scout Leader and Den Mother. Carol was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her ladies card club, playing bingo, camping, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her two daughters, Sandra (David "Jake") Selissen of Green Bay; and Lori (Daniel) Lorenz of Pewaukee; three sons, Ronald (Cheryl) Jacobs of Pewaukee, Robert (Marcie) Jacobs of Pewaukee and Michael (Christine) Jacobs of New Holstein; 14 grandchildren, Brad, Bryan, Morgan and Taylor Jacobs, Kevin & Allison Le Claire, Dillon Selissen, Shaina & Derek Jacobs, Jacob, Kayla, McKenna & Samantha Lorenz & Christopher Jacobs; three brothers, Gilbert (Sharon) Werner, Richard (Joan) Werner and Gene (Sue) Werner all of Oshkosh; her sister, Kathy Werner of Oshkosh; her sister-in-law, Sandra Werner of Oshkosh; four brother's-in-law, Roger (Darlin) Jacobs of Kewaskum, Hillard (Beverly) Jacobs of Chilton, Joseph (Cecelia) Jacobs of New Holstein and Kenneth (Debbie) Jacobs of Sun Prairie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jacobs; her parents; a brother, Robert Werner Jr.; her father & mother-in-law, Raymond & Veronica Jacobs and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Jacobs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday May 4, 2007, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. Rev. Wayne Bittner, will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Ave., New Holstein, on Thursday, May 3, 2007, from 4-8 p.m. and again at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9-10:30 a.m. when brief family rites will be held at the funeral home. The Christian Women will recite the Rosary at the funeral home Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. A memorial fund will be established in her name. The Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein 920-898-4300 is assisting the family.
