  Scott Vanderwielen, 51, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, December 20, 2014. He was born on June 17, 1963, in Appleton WI to James and Shirley Vanderwielen. Scott will always be remembered for his loving heart, warm spirit, kindness, smile and generosity. He was an outdoorsman who appreciated nature, enjoyed fishing, hunting, afternoons on the pontoon boat with family, winter camping with friends, and long walks in the woods with his dogs. Scott was a close friend and mentor to his nephew and nieces teaching them to hunt, fish, chop wood, and build fires. He was a die-hard Packers fan - Go Pack Go! Scott is survived by two brothers, Jim (Donna), O'Fallon, MO; and Jeff (Yulia), San Diego CA; his loving partner, Annie Udell; nephew and nieces, Ryan, Madison, Jessica, and Megan (James) Bisson; aunt and uncle, Jan and Paul Frakes; uncle and aunt, Ray and Rose Vanderwielen; uncle, Mike Vanderwielen; uncle, Joe Vanderwielen; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Vanderwielen; and his mother, Shirley Vanderwielen. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
