  LeRoy E Owart, age 81, a Shady Lane Nursing Care resident, died Thursday evening, January 4, 1996, at the center. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 8, 1996, at St Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev Carl Meulemans with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. He was born August 3, 1914, in Manitowoc, son of the late Charles and Mary Landt Owart. LeRoy was a graduate of Lincoln H.S. class of 1932. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He married the former Winifred E. Pritzl, October 31, 1942 at St Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death in June of 1972. Mr Owart had been employed by Manitowoc Shipbuilding for many years retiring in 1972. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie No. 706 and a 50 year member of the Boiler Makers Local No. 443. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Barbara Owart, Manitowoc, Michael and Jeanne Owart, Franklin, Wis.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Fred Moreaux, Susan and Dennis Loritz, all of Green Bay; one brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Norma Owart, Two Rivers; two sisters, Erma Rocque, Milwaukee, Leona Vetting, Florida. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Walter, and two sisters, Lynn and Elsie. Friends may call at St Boniface Catholic Church from 9 a.m. Monday until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening visitation.
