  Arnold Schuler, age 85, a resident of St Nazianz, presently residing at St Mary Home for the Aged, Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning, June 4, 1997 at the home. Funeral Services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, 1997 at St Gregory Catholic Church, St Nazianz. Presiding at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev Gerald Sirois with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Arnold was born June 20, 1911 at St Nazianz, son of the late Gottfried and Agnes Schram Schuler. He married the former Bernadine Pritzl, July 5, 1938, at St Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Arnold owned and operated the family farm located in rural Valders for many years until his retirement. He was a member of St Gregory Catholic Church, St Nazianz. Survivors include his wife, Bernadine Schuler, St Nazianz, presently residing in Reedsville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Maggie Schuler, State of Washington, Chuck and Sharon Schuler, Madison; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Janet and Bill Sheehy, Reedsville, Diane and Hugh Waite, Neenah, Jean Walsh, Whitelaw; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Herbert Schuler, Kiel, Edmund and Marion Schuler, St Nazianz; three sisters, Florentine Backhaus, St Nazianz, Petronella Schneider and Marcella Zyck, both of Manitowoc; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Bernard and Kay Pritzl, Washington, Harold and Leona Pritzl, Whitelaw; one sister-in-law and her husband, Gertrude and William McCulley, Fond Du Lac; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Clara Kautzer and Leona Brunmeier; one son-in-law, Jerry Walsh; and one daughter-in-law, Janet (Shimon) Schuler. Friends may call at St Gregory Catholic Church from 3 p.m. Friday until the time of services. The Christianson-Deja Funeral Homes, Valders, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. Kheil heard Miss Bernadine Pritzl, daughter of Mr and Mrs Theodore Pritzl of Cato and Arnold Schuler, son of Mr and Mrs Godfried Schuler, Valders, Route 1, repeat their vows after him during a ceremony at 9 o'clock this morning at the St Mary Catholic Church of Clarks Mills. Miss Gertrude Pritzl, the maid of honor, Miss Marcella Schuler and Petronella Schuler, bridesmaids, Agnes Backhaus, niece of the groom, flower girl, Edmund Schuler and Norbert Schnieder were in the retinue of attendants. ......... . . . Dinner was served at the brides home to 150 guests and supper will be served to the same number tonight. Mrs Anton Micke and Mr and Mrs Wilfred Vanderheyden of Thorp are among the guests. The couple will take a honeymoon trip and after July 15 will be at home on the groom's farm in Valders.
