  Bill H. Ellenbecker, 52, Neenah, passed away unexpectedly at Theda Clark Medical Center on June 16, 2014, with his loving family at his side. He was born February 20, 1962, in Neenah, son of Jerome and Ruby (Pluger) Ellenbecker. Bill attended Neenah High School, and then served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Guadalcanal. He played little league in Appleton and also legion baseball in Neenah. Bill was a chef at various places in the valley, and he also owned The Peak Bar in Neenah. Bill is survived by his mother, Ruby; brothers: Robert (special friend Judy), Neenah, and Tony, Appleton; his children: Joel (special friend Tamrah) Ellenbecker, James T. Maitland and Shannon A. Anderson; grandmother, Rose Goodwin; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other friends. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Jerry, on March 23, 2014. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Bill's name.
