  Lambie, Stanley George, Kauka unaAge 82, died Monday August 25, 2003 at Heartwood Homes in Menasha, followi ng a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Stan was born November 2 3, 1920 in the Town of Kaukauna, son of the late George and Carrie (Simpso n) Lambie. On July 1, 1950, Stan married the former Marian K. Steger at t he Kaukauna Methodist Church. The couple lived and farmed their entire liv es in the Town of Kaukauna. In his younger years, he also worked at the Ni ghtengale Ballroom on Hwy 96. Stan enjoyed ballroom dancing, country mus ic and deer hunting. He is survived by his wife, Marian Lambie; their chil dren, Bruce (Evelyn) Lambie; Janet (Mark) Huss, Nancy (Dave) Englehardt a nd Brian (Mary) Lambie; their grandchildren, Chrissy, Katie, Gina and Brad ley Lambie, Scott, Carrie and Jenny Huss, Mike and Natalie Damro and Tayc ie Lenhart, Chad and Aaron Lambie; their step granddaughter, Kristin Engel hardt and step great granddaughter, Alyssa Engelhardt; three sisters, Bet ty Bastian, Blanche La Rue and Georgia (Ted) Arndt. He is further surviv ed by his wife’s family, Lorraine Heilman, Betty Deeg, Joe (Darlene) Stege r, Robert (Betty Jane) Steger Sr. and Harriet Steger and many nieces and n ephews. Stan was preceded in death by two sisters, Esther Nelson and Ed na Tank, six brother-in-laws, Art Deeg, Carl Heilman, Harold Tank, Claren ce Bastian, Albert Nelson and Don Steger, a step grandson Jesse Englehar dt and a nephew Don Nelson. The funeral service will be 6:00 p.m. on Wedne sday August 27th, at the BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME 2401 Fieldcrest Dri ve Kaukauna with Pastor Timothy J. Albrecht officiating. Entombment at Hig hland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends will be received on Wednesday at t he Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial is be ing established in Stan’s name.The family would thank Jason J. Schmitz and his staff of Heartwood Homes f or all the care and compassion they gave Stan.
