  Helen C. Finnerty, age 95, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Rennes Health Center. Helen was born January 7, 1921, in the Town of Center, the daughter of the late Paul and Annie (Schultz) Kohl. On December 20, 1966, Helen married James C. Finnerty in Appleton. James preceded Helen in death on December 23, 2001. Helen was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Appleton and was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and husband James, Helen was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. Friends may call on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette Street, Appleton, from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 a.m., in the church, with Father Thomas J. Farrell officiating.
