  Wickesberg, Dallas E., Seymo ur, WIDallas E. Wickesberg, age 84, passed away Tuesday morning, October 14, 20 03 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour. He was born on November 1 4, 1918, the son of the late Walter and Mabel (Sharp) Wickesberg. He was u nited in marriage to Lela Wendt at the Freedom Moravian Church. She preced ed Dallas in death on October 9, 1999. Dallas was an auto mechanic for ma ny years. He enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his grandchild ren. Dallas was a World War II Army veteran.He is survived by his children: Dwight (Rose), Black Creek; Brian (Patsy ), and Wayne (Becky), all of Seymour; his grandchildren: John (Tonya), Bla ck Creek; Jeff, Seymour; David (Stacey), Shiocton; Doug and Eric, Shiocto n; Alan, Black Creek; Jacob, Jennifer, Jessie and Michelle, all of Seymou r. He is also survived by his brother and sisters: Walter, Vivian and Bet ty Wickesberg, Black Creek; Mary (Jim) Shepherd, Shiocton; and a sister-in -law, Eleanor (Vern) Van Lanen, Oneida and brother-in-law, Bill Beyer, Win neconne.Dallas was preceded in death by his wife and his son, Burton, his brothe rs and sisters.Friends may call at the Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main Stree t, Seymour on Thursday, October 16, 2003 from 4 p.m. until the time of ser vice at 7 p.m. with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. A military service wi ll follow. The burial will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.The family wishes to thank the staff at Good Shepherd Nursing Home for a ll their special care and concern shown Dallas.
