  James L. Kimball, Appleton, age 85, passed into the presence of his Lord on August 7, 2012. Jim was born November 30, 1926 in Appleton, the son of the late Erwin and Erna (Butter) Kimball. He was employed by the George Banta Corporation for over 40 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Calvary Bible Church, Neenah and the Gideons International. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Navy from 1944 - 1946. He was united in marriage to Alice (Grimmer) Kimball November 26, 1949. She preceded him in death on December 31, 1978. He was united in marriage to Lois (Krueger) Kimball on September 8, 1979. In addition to his wife Lois, he is survived by a daughter Linda (Richard) Kurrasch, four granddaughters and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Earl (Dorene) Kimball, and sisters Gloria (Joseph) Gibson, Ila Mae Schabow, Nancy McKay, and Peggy (Robert) Van Stippen; and by brother-in-law, Donald Mueller. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Alice, a daughter and son-in-law Judith and Gordon Anderson, son David Kimball, sister, Joyce Mueller and brothers-in-law Armin Schabow and Thomas McKay. Funeral services will be held TODAY at 4:30 p.m. at Calvary Bible Church, 1450 Oakridge Road Neenah, with Rev. Rick Ribble officiating. Friends may call directly at the church TODAY from 2:30 p.m. until the time of service. Jim will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his name. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the staff of Emerald Valley for the past six weeks and for the loving end of life care given to him at Cherry Meadows.
