  David G. Rentmeester, 55, Green Bay resident, died Friday, August 11, 200 6. He was born October 1, 1950, in Green Bay to Almira A. Rentmeester a nd the late Gordon Rentmeester. David is a graduate of Preble High Schoo l. On July 3, 1971, he married Barbara King at St. Willebrord Catholic Chu rch. They recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary. David was em ployed as a papermaker at Procter & Gamble Paper for 32 years. He was a me mber of the International Papermakers Union. David was a volunteer at t he Green Bay Botanical Gardens; a member of Green Bay Area Great Lakes Spo rts Fisherman's Club, working numerous projects, including Special Olympic s. Above all else, David enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, tra veling (especially to Las Vegas) and beating Mom at cribbage. He also lov ed fishing, woodworking projects and gardening. Survivors include his wife Barbara; his mother Almira, Green Bay; son To dd (Tammy) Rentmeester, Luxemburg; daughter Kristen (Jack) Le Roy, Luxembu rg; five grandchildren: Paige Rentmeester, Andy, Cerra, Trevor, and Jac ob Le Roy. He is further survived by three brothers, Lee (Bonnie) Rentmees ter, Rhinelander; Chuck (Dianne) Rentmeester, New Franken; Gary (Sharon) R entmeester, Green Bay; one sister, Kathleen (Gordon) Aldrich, Cheboygan, M ichigan; one sister-in-law Roberta (Ray) Pataconi. He was preceded in death by his father Gordon; his stepfather, Le Roy Bowe rs, and his mother and father-in-law, Robert and Marie King. Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Tuesd ay from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. K enneth De Groot officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
