  Coenen, Virginia M. Virginia Propson Braun Virginia Coenen, age 72, of Kaukauna, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, November 2, 2007. Ginny was born in Chilton, daughter of the late Ambrose and Helena (Hoerth) Propson. She attended Chilton High School, and in 1955 married Robert Braun. He preceded her in death in February of 1971. As a young woman, Ginny worked at a variety of jobs in the Chilton area, and after relocating to Kaukauna worked as the Traffic Coordinator at Appleton Papers Locks Mill. On December 13, 1979, she married Jerald Coenen of Kaukauna. Ginny's most recent work was in the office at Vande Hey - Raleigh Roof Tile in Kaukauna. She enjoyed volunteering at the Kaukauna Moose Lodge, golfing and gardening. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Coenen of Kaukauna; two sons: Kendall (Sally) Braun of Kaukauna and their children Sarah and Nathan; and David (Susan) Braun of Pulaski and their children Nicole, David, Dena, and Joseph; three step-children: Timothy Coenen of New London and his son, Timothy Coenen, Jr.; Brenda Coenen and her friend Rob of Little Chute, and her twins Tyler and Haley Konrad; and Shelli (Steve) Bessette of Kimberly and their children Nicholas and Logan. Ginny has one sister, Lillian (John) Ecker of Stockbridge; two brothers: Norman Propson of Forest Junction and Jerome (Nancy) Propson of Stockbridge; and a sister-in-law: Hannah Propson of Hilbert. She is also survived by Jerry's brothers and sisters: Ronald (Tess) Coenen of Little Chute, Yvonne (Gordy) Sprangers of Little Chute, Julaine (Jim) Feldkamp of Minnesota, Grace (Florian) Smits of Winneconne, LeRoy Coenen of Appleton, Sue Coenen of Little Chute, and James (Leslie) Coenen of Combined Locks. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Robert Braun and a brother Frederick Propson. The funeral liturgy for Ginny will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 5, 2007, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again Monday morning at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of the mass. Ginny will always be remembered as a generous, giving woman who was always there to help a family member or friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. FARGO FUNERAL HOME 400 W.
