  Mary P. Hoffman, New London, 72, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2007, at Cherry Meadows in Appleton. Mary was born on July 25, 1934, in Bear Creek Township daughter of the late Louis and Genevieve (Dunleavy) Mares. On Dec. 27, 1958, Mary was united in marriage to Robert Hoffman. She is survived by her husband, Robert; her sons, Pete (Lynn), Manitowoc, and their daughters, Victoria and Elizabeth; John (Pat), Wittenberg and their son, Jack; Joe (Sandy), Shawano, and their daughters, Sarah and Courtney; a brother, Lloyd (Darlene) Mares, Bear Creek; sister-in-law, Helen Mares, Appleton, and a special niece, Connie Mares, Madison. Besides her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her brothers, Vincent, Leon, Patrick and Michael. Funeral services for Mary will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at 5:30 p.m., at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London, with Fr. David Lewis officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday, from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in lieu of flowers. I'm done drinking, dancing, and having fun. So please remember me with smiles and cheers. If you can only remember me with tears, don't remember me at all.
