  Fuhrmann, Marcella "Sally" - "Gramma Babe" Marcella Fuhrmann, of New London, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at St. Joseph Residence in New London. Marcella was born the daughter of the late Moses and Alice Barlow on October 19, 1916 in New London. She graduated from Most Precious Blood grade school, New London High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Oshkosh. On December 9, 1942, she married Robert E. Fuhrmann at army camp Von Dors in Mc Comb, Mississippi. Marcella worked as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital in Oshkosh, New London Community Hospital and St. Joseph Residence in New London. She belonged to the parish council of Catholic Women, St. Joseph Auxiliary and did extensive volunteer activities at the hospital and St. Joseph Residence. Marcella and her husband Bob were charter members of WCARC and were very active in that group for many years. Marcella is survived by her daughter, Alice (Peter) Brusky; her three sons: Thomas (Sharon), Timothy (Judy) and Michael. She was so proud of her grandchildren: Andrew (Laura), Amy (Steve) Culbert, Matthew (Bonnie), Molly (Michael) Robb, Sarah (Nick) Jungels, Ben (Maura), Joseph, Patrick, and Emily Brusky, Daniel, Samuel and Marcella Fuhrmann; and also her great-grand children: Gabe and Ezra Brusky, Clay Culbert, Lilly and Lucy Jungels, Ellie and Colin Brusky and Lauren Robb. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and residents at Trinity Terrace. She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Robert; brothers: Frances, Donald, John and Aloysius ("Red"), Leo; a sister Irene; and a grandchild ("DJ") David Joshua. Funeral Mass for Marcella will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with Fr. David Lewis officiating. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery in spring. Friends may call at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 from 4-8 p.m. A 7:30 prayer service will be held. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Special thanks to Carol, Dorothy Z, Kathy, Mary, Lee, Joyce, and Margie who took such loving care of Marcella. You were all truly members of her family. Also, many thanks to the staff at New London Family Medical Center, Trinity Terrace and St. Joseph Residence. Mom, we miss you so much, especially your fun-loving personality and jokes; but it is good for you to be with dad again. Shawano Lake will miss you!
