  Van Lith, Johanna C. "Ann" With the sounds of "Sanctus" and her family surrounding her, our beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother walked peacefully into the arms of Jesus. Johanna Catharina Van Lith, Kimberly, age 78, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007, at St. Paul Home. She was born in Hedel, the Netherlands, on September 20, 1929, to the late Harry and Gertrude (Verdoorn) Michels. Ann married Albert Van Lith on May 6, 1954, at St. Willibrord Catholic Church in Hedel. Ann and Albert came to the United States in September of 1956 with their two small children. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, Kimberly, where she sang in the church choir. Ann also sang in the Chaminade Chorus. She was a St. Joseph Food Pantry volunteer for many years. Ann was an excellent seamstress and also enjoyed knitting. She enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage. Ann was a devoted grandmother that will be lovingly remembered for her Red Soup. Ann is survived by her husband of 53 years, Albert; eight children: Harry (Dot), Little Chute; Janie (Chuck) Schwamb, Little Chute; Gerty, Combined Locks; Hans (Dianne), Appleton; Mary Ann (Gordy) Anderson, Little Chute; Trish, Kaukauna; Al (Susan), Brookfield; and Mike (Melanie), Appleton; 17 grandchildren: Scott (Bernadette) Van Lith, Erin (Clint) Klapatauskas, Nikki Schwamb, Terri (fiance Jason) Schwamb, Dylan, Deidra, Derrek, Olivia, Noah, Parker, Caitlin and Alia Van Lith, Cory, Casey and Carly Anderson, and Bill and Elliott Nytes; brothers and sisters: Harry (Jopie) Michels, Toos (Piet) Brouwers and Tonny (Theo) Blank, all from the Netherlands; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Peter (Korrie) Van Lith, Betsy (Michael) Van Alem and Ans Van Lith. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law: Hank Bok, Nick and Nellie Vander Wielen and Tilly Van Lith. Visitation will begin Monday, December 31, 2007, at 12:00 Noon until the time of Mass at 3:00 p.m. at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH - KIMBERLY SITE (600 E. Kimberly Ave). The Rev. David Beaudry will officiate. Committal Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
