  Mrs Elizabeth Hentz, 73, of Hilbert, died early Thursday, March 12, she was found dead in bed in her apartment Thursday morning by her landlady, Mrs Lyle Pasewald. Mrs Hentz was born in the town of Woodville, Calumet County, Sept 16, 1885, a daughter of Balthzar and Mary Timm Thon. She was married to Peter Hentz Oct. 27, 1909 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sherwood. The couple lived in the town of Woodville for a number of years, then spent ten years at Kaukauna, and returned to farm near Hilbert. Mr Hentz died in March 1956, and Mrs Hentz had made her home in Hilbert since that time. Mrs Hentz was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church at Hilbert. Funeral services were held at the church Saturday with the Rt. Rev. Msgr Martin Jackels, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart cemetery, Sherwood. (Chilton Times Journal – March 19, 1959)
