I have a lot of information, but of course nothing ever seems complete. This morning I was doing some research and notice that Elwin and Isabelle Nutting are both deceased and in checking on the Internet I found your email address I assume you have a family tree on either the Potter or the Nutting side of the tree....both are pretty big families. I could not find where Elwin and Isabelle are buried. Would you happen to have that? How are you related to them? I would be willing to help you fill in some blanks if I can. My great grandparents were Robert Nelson Potter/Marie Louse Chartier. Robert was a brother to Firman Mackey Potter (grandfather of Elwin Nutting). Many years ago I made a huge book on the Potter family. Then my own family grew and I got busy with our kids activities in school and just didn't have the time to devote to geneology. Then, getting back into it I worked on my father's father's side (Potter is my father's mother's side) and my mother's side of the family and most recently on my husbands family, so my Potter side is not up to date. One of my cousins lives in New York and there are many Potter's there and she was questioning me about some of them so started looking at my Potter books.....and realizing how far behind I am. It is a small world and this is kind of weird, but I notice that Elwin and Isabelle lived in Hortonville, Greenville and Appleton, WI area. I had never heard of Hortonville before, it is a small town, but yesterday my husband and I went to a funeral in Hortonville.....strange that I should get up this morning to an email from a cousin asking about the Potter family which made me get out the book and look.   MRS. CLARENCE NUTTING Mrs. Clarence Nutting. 814 E. North-st, died Saturday morning at the home of her niece, Mrs. Otto Baars, Johnston Creek. She is survived by her widower, one daughter, Lenore, two sons, Nelson and Elwin, all of Appleton; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Reese, Henville; Mrs. Frank Richards, Lake Mills; Mrs. Frank Wilcox, Aniwa; one brother, Burton Potter, Marshall; three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon from the home. Burial was in Riverside cemetery. The Rev. J. A. Holmes officiated. Bearers were William Schulze, William Breitrick, Henry Riesenweber, Henry Griener, Fred Breitrick, and William Schroeder.
